The 5 on 5-5. Cinco de everything
And that it's Kyle Larson's 25th Career Win (5*5=25)
What a fantastic finish again as it’s actually the best finish I’ve seen since the Jimmie Johnson four wide photo finish at Talladega in April 2011
Congratulations Kyle!!!
RFK impressed me today!
Been watching since '97, and I've never seen a finish like that.
Atlanta with Suarez bush blaney
@@hypebroouttanowhere6411this was closest in nascar history so no.
No one has genius.
How many green white checkereds did you see in 1997? Might as well just have them every week now.
2003 Darlington is definitely right there but this is on par.
Kyle Larson is an amazing driver. He can wheel a racecar
It would be nice if his sponsors come back
@@dkozik801what happened in 2020 was an overreaction
@@Dupontman627 you got that right bro.. cheers
@@Dupontman627 credit one bank and door dash must be crapping there pants. 😂🌵🌵💪
I can’t believe he didn’t crash in turns 3+4 took the Larson Line to the next level 😂
Kyle Larson was speaking facts during that interview we need more Mile and a half’s bring back Chicagoland and others that are off the schedule
Absolutely agree
I 100% agree with you on that
CHICAGOLAND!!
Legendary track. Chicago Land😢😢😢😢
We need Chicagoland back! And rockingham! Larson would be ripping up the high lines there too and winning
Larson what a race!
Props to Buescher for taking it like a man and not whining and crying. I agree that we need more 1.5 mile tracks. Larson dominates on them. 😂
If it was denny instead of chris he'd be bitching even more. Chris took it like a champ and I respect him for it.
As a Truex fan I’m fuming right now but I gotta admit that finish was EPIC!! Congrats Larson you put on a hell of a show.
Why'd they take 4?! I think he wins it taking 2 at the end
@@Ben_MFN_Franklin
It would be really close, but Hamlin had a good car and on two tires Truex MIGHT not beat Hamlin.
@@Ben_MFN_Franklin That’s what I’m saying! James small needs to go
I like truex in the 19 car. He's a threat on the race track
@@dkozik801
I agree. It has been painful, but at the same time it's so good to see him be a contender almost every week. He'll get his win soon.
Great Race Larson! What a finish
Congratulations Kyle Larson
💯
And the milestone for the closest finish in NASCAR history goes to... Kyle Larson! That's one for the history books!
You daggone right
Technically, Tyler Reddick still holds that milestone.
@@crystaljon no, this was the closest finish in the Cup series. Nobody cares about Xfinity.
Next Stop, Darlington!
Retro throwback week. Very excited to see the back in the day cars
It kind of reminds me of darlington back in 03
Yes with Larson's tribute to Terry Labonte it is almost scripted he will win it
Riding in Larsons car with ten laps to go you could stick a fork in him, his car was done. Bounced off the wall twice and started to sink. His pit crew putting him out third and him going for it was impressive.
Jamie Little posted on twitter a photo of the right front they took out on the last stop and it was on the chords. Kyle Busch spinning saved Larsons race as that was going to be a flat, and gave us an epic finish for the ages.
Congrats to Larson, making history with the closest finish ever.
And Buescher...I know it sucks but you can clearly see Larson got to the line first in that video, accept it.
Isn’t this Rick hendrick’s 307th career win?
@@AlolaMasked_BettyRubbleFan Indeed it is
Yeah..purposely wrecking Chris did slow him down....
@@nickg505 Get over it child, it's called racing to the line, cars have door slammed coming to the finish countless times.
I don’t like it but yea I accept it. I just am no fan of Larson lol and that’s fine. Everyone’s got opinions big guy.
Dam, good racing, just glad to see 6 and 17 up front, can't help it, Mark Martin fan
God, I called it that he will win. Who’s ready to go retro next week?
I am
Me I hope Larson wins again
Me three 😂.. I love retro week. Especially for Hendricks Motorsports, love there throwbacks😂🎉🎉🎉
@@KBR537I hope he’s in the care center by lap three next week.

Im suprised that they didn’t censored that even though im a Larson fan im happy
Can i honestly say that wil never be broken PERIOD!!!!!
Dude .001! Thats nuts!
YUNG MONEY is a BADASS in a racecar!
KABOOM x 5
ONE ONE THOUSANDTH🔥🔥
Kyle Larson is the greatest wheelman out there!
Congratulations 🎈🎊🎉 to the best driver Kyle Larson you made history ❤
GREAT RACE KYLE LARSON & CHRIS BUESCHER
Welp… I said Atlanta was gonna be the best finish this season… I was wrong
A four wide photo finish. Thats the type of finish I do with my diecasts when I'm bored.
Have fun playing with your diecast cars out in the sandbox. Maybe the 23 can actually win for a change. 😄
@@MikeG42 don't have a sandbox, but sure keep up that garbage agenda.
Better Luck Next Time Chris Buescher
I’m a Big Kyle Larson Fan But Buscher ain’t to shabby! Wow! What a close close race! Kyle had the car the whole race but Buscher came as close as you can get to winning! GREAT RACE GUYS!
I'm not a Larson fan, but he gave a decent interview.
I did like his interview about the more 1/5, so I’m on ur page
The interview you liked?? Do you see that restart and last lap??
@@mastodon98 I personally loved the finish but I hate Larson
Fair enough.
I grew up watching NASCAR and the Alabama Gang, Richard Petty, David Pearson, AJ Foyt - Indy Trophy winner also, but Kyle Larson has something that keeps him consistently at the top.
I saw Larson in 5th and thought "no way he's gonna win this..." Hamlin has it in the bag!!... Glad ya got dubbya my Half Asian brutha!!... Watching from Brisbane, Australia!!! GM fan all day!!!
Two really good drivers. I hated that one had to lose.
See ya 2003 finish @ darlington lol hello Kansas 2004 Way to go Larson!
2024*
Better bring Chicagoland back to see how the Gen 7 race there.
You can tell Chris buescher was angry and I would be too I have gain a ton of respect for him great race
Why would Buescher be angry about being a part of nascar history?
@@AlolaMasked_BettyRubbleFanBecause FORDS been trying to win a race. Every time they get in a position, a Chevy or a Toyota takes another FORD win away. I hate to say it, the FORDS are cursed with bad luck.
@AlolaMaskedSFHCM because dude.tried to wreck him for them win...lol duh
Agree 100%
The first bang fine..... the second one that knocked him below the line is the ones he's pissed at..... lol
We need more mile and half tracks?! The racing appears great with this car at those places because no one can get away from one another.
They took a look at the replay very close by 1/16 of an inch edge go to Kyle Larson, so as a result that was a good call thanks to replay Kyle Larson wins.
Fun fact: Ford and Chevy has been in all 3 of these finishes when its been less than 0.00. And Chevy has won all 3. 😭
Bowtie power baby
Made in mexico
@@vidmasterK1don't matter, Larson still outran Chris
Listen to the Specators! Good to see!
And here we don’t race on 1 1/2 mile tracks as much! Best racing ever on these tracks. What a race!
Man, Truex was SOOOO close! He would have won without the caution.
the race was exciting which means no matter what, truex isnt allowed to win
I miss Larry if ge was here he'd be saying "one one thousandth of a second!"
All I can say is wow! Incredible! Unbelievable!!!
What a race
Dude. Racing has gotten really good again.
I'm calling it right now!
Kyle Larson will be the 2024 Nascar Cup Champion !
Wouldn’t shock me.
5 championships by 2032
Congratulations Kyle nice to see , a buddy from the dirt track winning on NASCAR,,, thanks. BigAl California
Hey nascar heres your star. Btw i think he runs the indy 500 soon....
if you look at photo of finish line you will see that it is not even across the track. If the stripe paint line was straight then Chris had it
You realize the finish line is pretty much a decoration, right?
Kyle larson is the best driver of this generation
Great night there
What happened to the splitters on Ford and Chevy? The length looks quite different. Did Nascar allow the difference on the splitter?
Splitter is 100% identical from a single source manufacture. It’s irrelevant because multiple points of the body out the 5 ahead. Including the A and B piller. The transponder data isn’t governed by the splitter either.
If it wasn't for the camera, people would be arguing that finish forever!
Im not a larson fan and as soon as that caution came out i called it that they were gonna rig this race for him you can tell who is gonna win just listen to who they are beefing up all day and they didnt shut up about larson all day...
Great racing NASCAR ⚡ congratulations to Kyle and Hendrick Motorsports 🏁⚡
When nascar figures out they need an intermediate car.. a short track car .. and road course car and superspeedway car. Then nascar will flourish until then they will have a good race every now and then
How sweet it is....
Great job young money
How appropriate The 5 Car Won The Closest Finish in NASCAR History on Cinco De Mayo which was Kyle Larson's 25th Career Win (5*5=25)
Nascar has had some great races this year 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 glad to see it❤
Adding to that he was second in Highlimit sprint car racing in the same weekend.
It reminds me of the cars movie finish lol
way to go 5
It’s the month of Kyle
Kyle Larson Is Awesome
Way to go Larson.
Larson is class
Even if you go off of where that faded line goes skinnier, he was still ahead.
That line is irrelevant. It’s not the official start/finish line. The timing loop / receiver line is the official line. In this case the 5 crossed both first. The painted line is just their as a reference for the fans and out of nostalgia.
Ford, ya get what ya pay for........schitt!!!!
If the line was painted straight, it looked like a tie. should have a laser line like the NFL first down to make line.
I cant believe I'm part of history...I painted that white line...lol
Once again a Hendrick Chevrolet always comes out on top...........right on the script.
Bro it clearly shows larson won. Quit bitching because your driver didn't win.
@@soliderfromtf2810 did you realize that other teams HAVE their own scoring receivers that monitor scoring and the other teams say the number was .0000, a tie, NOT .001........Hamlin, NOT me, is claiming NASCAR made this up.
Is this win 303 or 304 for Hendrick?
307, I believe
@@chasebriscoefan14 IT IS THEIR 307TH! Because 306 was when Chase Elliott finally won!
@@AlolaMasked_BettyRubbleFan yes
@@AlolaMasked_BettyRubbleFannobody cares about Hendrick. Literally Nobody.
Lots of those wins were won by cheating !!
L F G #5 🔥🔥
03 craven v Bush was still a better race though
The story line leading up to that race makes it better but when it comes to straight up action I think kansas wins.
Well I have never!
Sucks for buscher but he isn't blind he knows Kyle won
Wooooooohooooooo🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Heck yeah Lala!!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
It was 5/5. The 5 had to win.
What if Chris buscher beats Kyle Larson at Darlington with that finish next week 😊.
All right Motor Mouse 5
Bring back kentucky, chicagoland and miami.
Homestead (that's in the Miami area) hasn't left the schedule.
CRAVEN GOT EM
Indy 500
Wished buscher won it because of that scheme he had would’ve fit victory lane perfectly
Would this have been .001 at the finish if not for the manufactured GWC, NO! This race would have had a completely different outcome! People need to look at the whole picture instead of focusing on one part!
How did nascar force a gwc? Not nascars fault kyle busch lost it on lap 8.
Truex didn't win another race due to his pit crew call... how many more races are they going to throw before Truex figures out their plan?
Would like to chevrolet splitter didn't form
Checkers or reckers Hendrick again
What's the appeal process for the 17 team?
Not sure they would have a case at all with the photo finish and electronic timing and scoring.
@@warrensmitherman6541 I think they would. Electronic timing actually had them as the winner. The photo it looks like the line isn't painted correctly on the bottom and you can't really tell who got there first. So I think they have a strong argument to say it's inconclusive and that they should go based off the scoring.
If it was the other way around Hendrick would be appealing and would win.
@@kyleraymer5581the electric timing didn’t have Chris as the winner. The API which feeds the monitors and tower has typical update lag. The timing system is how we know the official delta in time. It had the 5 ahead by .001. Chris could argue it’s within the margin of error however there’s also the automatic electronic triggered slow motion photography that also shows the 5 crossed the line first. There’s also the multiple live action 8k video that shows the 5 ahead in multiple angles. There’s nothing to appeal. The multiple points of data price the 5 won. People made assumptions based on a single announcer whom didn’t state the finish as fact and a premature celebration by a team whom refused to wait for a review like the other teams did just a few weeks ago.
@@brendancahill7328 Ok. Deranged statement derived without facts and from a biased cognition by an individual whom failed to comprehend the facts of the situation or evaluate the multiple points of public data that was instantly available. Denial , delusion, Dunning Kruger and ignorance plagues the internet and comment sections. It plagues America.
It leave a bad taste in the mouth of many a fan when the electronic scoring that is tied into everyone participating shows Buescher won, then right after the finish it flips to showing Larson won.
It leave us wondering what exactly Roush Fenway Keselowski did to NASCAR to be treated this way, or was it Ford?
Kyle Larson, the kid rides again 😊
Kyle Larson is 31.
Not a fan of the 1.5 mile tracks and definitely not a fan of the later start times.
My wife and I went to bed.
Not a Larson fan. But I’m okay with this. His finishes are usually boring as hell. This was different.

Way to go, Kyle. You made the race very exciting for the fans. The finish couldn't have been any closer.
I hate to say it: FORDS ARE CURSED. They use all of their luck on all 3 series winning the championship race.
They’ll go winless the whole year in all three series at this rate.
