Two Steps From Hell has so many masterpieces honestly, Patrik did a phenomenal job with this arrangement, just like all of the arrangements they've done.
Back when I had zero musical background, before I ever started learning to play the keyboard (which imho is nothing compared to playing the piano in terms of difficulty), I'd simply have thought "wow, how fast he plays and yet how beautiful it sounds". But that doesn't come anywhere near to giving TRUE credit to what he has done to the song. And to how much time, effort, patience, persistence, knowledge of music theory and butt raw creativity has been required of him to do so. Learning to play an already written piece of music is merely the tip of the iceberg... After that, come layers upon layers of embellishing every meter on the sheet, each one with a shit ton of "what if I played that instead?" or "could I shorten this note here or fill that pause there with something that matches harmonically and compliments the rest?", as well as evaluating every new idea (hm, still not strong enough/could be faster/could play the chord on a lower octave/could extend the chord higher up/this part could still hold more notes/etc.). And you stop when your heart tells you you've used your instrument's full potential to build emotion out of the song, you'd simply need more instruments to make anything stronger out of it. An arrangement like this effectively requires one to pour their soul itself in the song. It's a battle against yourself to manage to make your instrument bring out everything the song is 'packing'. So, sir, I'm not gonna tell you this made me shed a tear, which it did, but I AM gonna say: I can clearly tell you've laid your soul in this, bare for all to see, and it looks absolutely epic. Battle's over and it seems you've won. Hats off to you :)
Patrick thank you for your time and inspiration. I’ve always wanted to play piano to blend with my painting skills when I was a little boy, but wasn’t serious about it. Now that I’m a professional painter, I still have that drive in piano and do hope I can build on this with your steps. Thanks
Im not a musical expert so I dont really know how to word this. I love the flow of your pieces so much. The transitions from softly played fragile bits to powerfull chords are a thing of beauty. Thank you for what you do Patrik
Your Victory video is what got me into two steps from Hell. You have no idea how happy I am that it happened. Their songs are absolutely beautiful. thanks Patrik!!! Your arrangements are like no other!
You’re one of the most inspiring and motivating pianist on UA-cam. Please never stop what you’re doing and keep those beautiful arrangements coming. They truly are a blessing to the ears. Thank you Patrik!

I think the visualization is made from his playing after the fact by putting the (midi) recorded information into a program, not the other way around ;-). But yes, he is a piano god.
My dad and I have heard all of your songs many times now. The musics you play really touch my soul. I've just started to learn piano and my goal is to be able to play like you, because that's magical. Congratulations man, and thank you a lot for sharing your work with us.
BlackHeart is probably my favorite piece from TSFH, I was shocked to see that you actually did it. THANK YOU Patrik, that was brilliant. I enjoyed every second of it 👌👌👌
This is one of my favorite TSFH songs and I even have the sheets for it and then Patrik comes along and uploads this. Incredibly impressive work. Truly loved it.

Blackheart is one of my top 10 TSFH songs. I think the original is a superb piece of music, with the lone cello weeping between sweeping orchestral movements. It is an ingenious and beautiful piece of music. Your cover of this piece is brilliant and I’ve downloaded it for future playing. I enjoy all your covers of TSFH, and I’ve downloaded quite a lot. It’s refreshing to hear your interpretation and you do it so very well. Thank you for playing one of my favorites. Simply brilliant.
After Victory I was so convinced you would do Blackheart as well.. These two pieces in particular mean a lot to me so, as a Tsfh fan & a pianist I deeply Thank you for your incredible transcriptions Patrik!
Patrik is making an alternative harmony of an alternative harmony not once but twice how crazy awesome well done and those trills wondertul addition its like the orchestra is part of patriks piano the best arrangement of blackheart ever almost stands on its own with the original

Patrik thank you so much for all the things you do for me !! I’ll never say it enough i love you so much ❤️❤️ keep doing this wonderful work forever...
And this is a song i never forget. I listened to almost all albums from tsfh. But this song is simply the best. Not heart of courage. No protectors of earth. No black sky. Strength of 1000 man..victory... This. And this one only is best piece tsfh did. My opinion.

Hi, Patrick.
Patrik you really are amazing!! I want to thank you for being so great at what you do. After watching that I was so moved I decided to learn the piano and I hope to someday be as good as you are. You are so inspiring and your arrangements are always beautiful. You always make it look so effortless and that’s something a lot of people strive for and wish they had (I know I’m one of those people). Hey Patrik, I just recently decided to get back into piano. I had played for like 13 years but then college kind of took over my free time and I've been away from a piano. Discovering your channel has been an inspiration for it and I've decided to learn most of the Star Wars songs you've put out. I love your arrangements. You're the only UA-camr I've turned on notifications for. There's a few more obscure Star Wars songs I'd love to learn, and I can't really find piano arrangements for them, especially ones as good as you could make. I know you probably get a thousand requests per video, so I totally get it if you can't or if you don't have the desire to do these songs. This is insanely well done. Know the original for some years and this somehow sounds more beautiful while still managing to keep the epicness. Very good job sir, hope one day I can play this myself.
I never heard this song by TSFH before, this sounds epic and beautiful which i love :-) I must say, this arrangement looks very hard and you nailed it once again. Congrats man, keep doing that awesome work :-)
I'm so glad that patrik still does tsfh, although it doesn't gives as much clicks as other pieces. I would be really glad to see "Evergreen" in the future, I'm still learning his "heart of courage" and I would like to do this next :P. But for now I will listen to this piece and relax. :D

If you meet Hans Zimmer, you should really work with him to make an incredible music piece(I know its a bit of a stretch, but you never know!) Also! You should du “Honor” by Hans Zimmer. The main theme from the series “The Pacific”. It’s a quite simple melody, but still beautiful. And I’m curious to see what magic you could bring to it.
Two Steps From Hell has so many masterpieces honestly, Patrik did a phenomenal job with this arrangement, just like all of the arrangements they've done.

Patrik and Two Steps from Hell: The crossover that keeps on giving. It’s always some of your best work, and this is no exception!
Yes! Hope one day he does Enchantress ♥️♥️
Another tsfh song I hope he does is impossible.
I love it when he does two steps from hell
I’d love any tsfh in complete honesty. Thanks to Patrik I actually know who they are.
I ship them.
I’ve never even heard of this song before, but I love the way you play it! Great job!
Let's repair this mistake and listen to the original too ^^ It's worth-while
It’s epic
Anything TSFH is epic. Skyworld just happens to be one of the best albums they have.
@Corentin M. I did. I listened to all the others they could find. They were great too.
Just listen to the original one. Its aweaome.

Beautifully phrased. Encompasses everything involved in this piece.
