It always blows my mind how your arrangements always manage to capture the factor that makes the originals of these covers stick within a person's mind. That is the real genius about your covers in my opinion. There are many skilled pianists who could play these arrangements just as well. And very few who can make them.
I am a huge fan of music, like many many others. I, unfortunately, am one of the unlucky humans that have no musical talent. Everyone can make music! I know it sounds cliché but it's true. I think it's very similar to learning a language. For example, you can learn some loose words/sentences but if you don't learn the syntax & grammar you won't get far. I think that is why most people give up after a while, they try to "speak fluently" too soon and decide it's not for them. Just like with languages, you can get a huge headstart by starting young (which is why you see so many child progidies), but it's never too late too start. You need to set realistic goals, be consistent and patient and preferably get a teacher. And when it finally starts to click that'll be one of the best feelings in the world. Dare to try it!?
Fam, “talent” is bs for something like playing piano, literally anyone can do it. It’s not the talent that you lack, but the will and patience to work really hard for something. But that is something that you can acquire, unlike “talent”.

The hard part is trying not to make F and B flat so loud while playing it so fast. Mad respect for that kind of hand-eye dexterity. Literally opting to adjust the sheet so it's easier for me to play than following what's on paper.

It is absolutely astonishing how much you can feel just through the notes and chords and keystrokes of the performance. You truly feel every part of this story in your soul
Ya this comes from their Battlecry album, which I think is probably at least top 3 for me. I really enjoy their newer Dragon album, and the Invincible one is their oldest and most recognized public album. Really, almost anyone can enjoy at least 1 song on any TSFH or Thomas Bergersen album
Hi Patrick, I'm not an expert but personally I think that this arrangement is a masterpieces: after months since the first time I've casually found it on YT while I'm looking for piano pieces to learn, it remains one my favorites of yours (and others I've found). I like it more than the orchestral version as the energy that you're able to express in this one is amazing (for me also your execution is really inspiring).
Thank you so much for playing this great music in such a majestic way! It felt even better than the original - I got chills right from the beginning. Kudos!!!
this is the lyrics: From far away In mountains deep The night of blood In twilight sleep The armies fight For king and queen There will be no No victory The swords collide With power and force As mighty men Show no remorse It is the time The snow is melting It is the time Of reckoning As you can start singing at 3:47 so it will fit the music.
@Fraser Neilson I honestly agree as well. Having only one kind of instrument play the song sounds a lot more pleasing and weirdly, more diverse than the actual orchestra playing it in my opinion.
Personal connection to this arrangement. Over quarantine the most therepuetic part of my day was sleeping, and I would sleep to this arrangement and others most nights over that summer. Now it brings back the feeling of the virtual world we used to live in and the controlling feel the world was in at that time
@@Therod911 yes and no, dedicate an hour or two a day to learning this and I’d bet you 100$ if you cared you’d be able to learn/play it too. (This is assuming you have at least basic piano knowledge. It's been well over a year and 7 months since I first heard this song, and a little over a year since I bought the sheet music and started playing. Memorized the first 2 pages both hands, and after that, I memorized the next 3 and a half pages on the right hand. Trust me, it's possible to play this song, you just have to devote all your spare piano time to it. Thanks Patrik for transcribing this into piano, I would be somewhere else if it weren't for this. Victory is almost in reach.

@@caspar5324It's doable from a person who's been playing for 1-2 years or more, the main theme at 1:02 is very tricky to play.. as it requires a lot of coordination and skill. It is absolutely astonishing how much you can feel just through the notes and chords and keystrokes of the performance. You truly feel every part of this story in your soul
Absolutely perfect. This is a victorious arrangement
I’m going to be honest... I have no idea where this comes from.
But I LOVE It
2 steps from hell just makes this stuff for epic reasons
@@kevinrawding6730 They make the music for trailers
You must listen to empire of angel!
One day we all surely overcome our miseries and meet the ultimate victory we've been seeking for..
Trueee
Пальцы ребенка - идеальная машина) Кто-бы знал как мне, 40 летнему лбу хочется играть на пианино)) Я с восторгом смотрю подобные видео.. Успеха Вам
I have been obsessed with this song for forever it seems. I didn't think it could get any better.
You learn something new every day indeed
victory is a brilliant song, i love it, its one of my favorite songs
Ooh yeah, TSFH covers always great!
Hope we see more of them in this channel!
Kudos!!!
this is the lyrics:
From far away
In mountains deep
The night of blood
In twilight sleep
The armies fight
For king and queen
There will be no
No victory
The swords collide
With power and force
As mighty men
Show no remorse
It is the time
The snow is melting
It is the time
Of reckoning
As you can start singing at 3:47 so it will fit the music.
Thanks for these
Ohhh my god first Time I see this. But really I thinking your words.
wow
Start Singing at 4:00 is perfect time
@@oboygreg7996 OMG is better bro!!!
Just amazed at how he brings out the melody even with all that's going on. I find this even more beautiful than the original.
I honestly didn't like the original.
@Fraser Neilson I agree. the original is good, but this is just magic
@Fraser Neilson I honestly agree as well. Having only one kind of instrument play the song sounds a lot more pleasing and weirdly, more diverse than the actual orchestra playing it in my opinion.
Estoy muy impresionado por tu técnica y virtuosidad. Soy tu fan y te saludo desde Chiapas, México. Algún día quisiera ejecutar mi música como tú.
this is insane
Personal connection to this arrangement. Over quarantine the most therepuetic part of my day was sleeping, and I would sleep to this arrangement and others most nights over that summer. Now it brings back the feeling of the virtual world we used to live in and the controlling feel the world was in at that time
I also listened to this song alot during lockdown
Wahnsinn!! Mein Respekt hast du. Eine Fingerfertigkeit wie ein Gott! 👌
Can you make a piano book with some of your arrangements? I would definitely buy one!
That's a good idea
There is an opportunity to buy single sheets. Just have a look at the video description. You will find the URL for getting there :P
@@Naribon284 yes, but if you like almost everything he plays it would get quite expensive
You make a book with your arrangements i will do your publicity arround me
same me too and that if really are in book i really buy it to learn it
I'm seriously convinced that there is no other person in the world that can play the song like this.
I actually perform these lol. I can send you some videos if you would like to see them haha, thanks for the music Patrik!
Words can´t even come close to describing how beautiful this masterpiece is. Thank you for sharing it with us!!
I have literally been listening to this song all day, it is absolutely amazing,
the part from 1:02... is so beautiful it gave me goosebumps

You play amazingly awesome❤❤❤❤❤I love your playing
This song is like a journey to other dimensions. Masterpiece played by a Master ❤️
This is like pure TALENT... I can't believe my eyes nor my ears...😳👏🏻💯
In addition to around 20 years of daily practice
@@Therod911 yes and no, dedicate an hour or two a day to learning this and I’d bet you 100$ if you cared you’d be able to learn/play it too. (This is assuming you have at least basic piano knowledge. I’ve been memorizing these synthesia things for 3 years now and Im at the 2min cool part after a little over 2 weeks on the piece!) I believe in you!
First notes I ever bought... It's great to play that masterpiece afters lots of hours practicing😊
I’m glad you liked it!
This is a master piece. No other songs can compete with this song and win
I can proudly say this has positively influenced my life, and my piano skills have rapidly gotten better after I started this song. Thanks Patrik for transcribing this into piano, I would be somewhere else if it weren't for this. Victory is almost in reach.
For how long have you been playing? I have also had this experience you've had while learning this song but for a much easier song. I just want to see if it's possible for me :).
@@caspar5324It's doable from a person who's been playing for 1-2 years or more, the main theme at 1:02 is very tricky to play.. as it requires a lot of coordination and skill. Its the quadruplets which were troubling me when I was first learning this but once you get a hold of it, it's all good. If you're going to learn this, all the best :)
@@caspar5324 I've been playing piano for about 6 months now (self taught), and I managed to learn this song okay. This was my third song (after Kiss the Rain and My Heart Will Go On by Patrik Pietschmann), and although the chords in the beginning were a bit hard at first, the rest I found okay. Best of luck to you if you plan to learn this song!
Her fingers is always on god mode what a talent you've been reach !
You mean "his" fingers. Patrik Pietschmann is male.
You brought a whole orchestra in a single piano.. Amazing!
He always does that. Always.
They say that piano can play the whole orchestra for a reason lol
Flawless !
