I have a bunch of these now and they can be pretty finicky, but when you get them working well - awesome. I got sick of standing there staring at the light show for 15 minutes every time I deploy one, so now I just switch them on and walk away. If they don't start sending pics in a couple days I go and move them somewhere else, repeat. I always do initial startup at the house in full signal. Sometimes it seems to take them hours to do that first startup until all the lights finally go out, then I recharge the batteries and deploy them outside. Since putting these cameras up this summer, I noticed that people whom I thought were hunting a road just down from my hunting property were actually sneaking through the bush and setting up in the thin strip of crown land between the road and my back fields. This explains the gut piles I'd been finding on my land on the back side. These assholes are getting nailed to the wall this year thanks to these cameras letting me know the minute the poachers drive in every time. Cheers.
Seems like the key to the drill is the sd card. Have you ever tried exclusively formatting the sd cards inside the camera?? I wonder would that work better??
Setting up my LM2s now . I have Cricket for cell service . My cameras are just considered LTE . Working with pretty much any provider I assume . Formatting an SD card now .
The cell cameras are not associated with your cell phone carrier at all. You can purchase either Verizon or ATT (nationwide) versions of the camera. You activate it within the app and chose your data plan and should be good to go from there.
So how long does it take to get a notification that it took a pic? Can it be set up to notify you in almost real time that it detected movement and took a pic?
Yes, it can be set up to notify you in almost real time. This setting uses significantly more battery however. I prefer to have mine communicate once or twice a day to save battery.
Yes it does. It cost $5 for 50 HD pictures. Then you can request individual pictures you want HD sent to the app. The full HD pictures are also stored on the sd card.
The camera functions well and the app is easy to work but the picture quality sucks big time. Even with the Hd i can’t see my bucks racks. It’s always blurry
Nice review! I think you sold me on this. Going to check em out.
Thanks man….great review..helped a lot !
Happy to help! Thanks for watching.

They are indeed finicky... But when you find them on sale its hard to pass up. I cant stand poachers. Good luck catching them!

If cameras have the option to format inside the cameras I always do it that way. To my knowledge the LM2 does not give you that option.
These cameras are nice, where I hunt we have no service, hope they get more towers in soon.

@@RhodesLessTraveledOutdoors it works with Cricket . It’s sending me pictures 🤷♂️
@@RhodesLessTraveledOutdoors I’m not switching cell carriers just for these cameras . They say LTE . I’m getting pics sent to my I-phone 8 🤷♂️👍
Its independent of your cell carrier. They will send pictures to any carrier. @@3lynyrd
@@RhodesLessTraveledOutdoors ok got ya ! I thought you were saying the other 2 carriers only . Both cameras working now !
Appreciate the video. How high do you put them?
I usually try to hang my cameras 10' or higher. Keeps them out of the line of sight of people and the deer. Thanks for watching!

Does it cost any extra for the hd picture?
Yes it does. It cost $5 for 50 HD pictures. Then you can request individual pictures you want HD sent to the app. The full HD pictures are also stored on the sd card.
Are HD photos on the SD card free? Or does it only save them if you pay?
Yes, it stores all HD photos on the SD card for free.
Hi guy, My cousin bring a trail camera from USA to Laos, I can not go through the last step to put the referral and promo code, how can I do?
I'm not sure how to help you on this one. I've never tried to set up a cell camera outside the USA.
Maybe good maybe not didnt have much luck with spytpoint cameras Moved on to Tacta Cam
The LM2 is $135 each in Canada ($99 usd).
I got lucky when I purchased these.

Picture quality is a big drawback with all spypoint cameras in my experience. I try to set my cameras up so the deer will be close as possible.
EBL AA Rechargeable Batteries are too large to work in this camera.
I'm very disappointed whit this camara last year I have very good signal this year is sack fotos only evey 24 hours I not recommend this product
