    Thank you for the tutorial..
    I used a lager emmc and to get acces to the extra room you need to enlarge youre partition after you written it to the new emmc
    to do this download gnome gparted you need to make with this a bootable usb stick.
    I used rufus to do this.
    After you have done that reboot your pc with the made usbstick in and the emmc conected to your pc.
    Boot from the usb ...when gnome is started you can then look for your emmc and choose to extend the partition.
    after that you can use the full capacity of the new emmc ellegoo told me there was no limit in the size of the emmc

      Thank you for watching our videos and your description of how to use a larger eMMC. I haven't explored using a larger eMMC because I don't like keep old files on my printers, but I'm sure it will help many people!

      I think this can be expanded via ssh after the fact without doing all that? ie: "sudo systemctl enable armbian-resize-filesystem && sudo reboot"

      Thank you for watching our videos! The item between the foam and the printer is a 24"x24" porcelain paver.

    Is 8gig as large as the printer will support?
    It would be nice to have more storage for favorite prints. Thanks.

      @@michaelmann5732 if you print only and directly from an SD card/USB thumb, 8GB should be good enough for firmware, but if you upload and print through fluidd web interface, 16GB is recommended because the stock firmware and OS take up 5GB already so you only have 3GB left for storing your models

    I've been watching several of your videos, and they have been very informative.
    For the original emmc, can you re-write for Open Nept4une? Of course after backing it up.

    • @SandMMakers
      @SandMMakers  8 місяців тому

      I would assume so. However, I'd suggest getting not only an eMMC reader, but also a spare eMMC and testing with that instead of the one included in the printer.

    I recently discovered your channel upon purschasing a Neptune 4 Max. Thank you for all the great and easy to follow content. I appreciate it. What's your thoughts on flashing the neptune to OpenNept4une for full klipper?

      Thank you!! While I know of the OpenNeptune project, I've never used it, so I really can't comment on it.

      Currently, no software modifications have been made to the printer in the vudeo.

    Hi. can you send me a copy of emms neptune 4 max? if it 's easy . You can tell me. what you don't need to press when a message appears on the screen (clipper ) . I'm a newbie. I recently bought a printer. and I've already broken it.

    • @SandMMakers
      @SandMMakers  6 місяців тому

      Thank you for watching our videos! I don't really have an easy way to send you an image, but if you email Elegoo at 3dp@elegoo.com, they should be able to provide one.
      As second question, I'm not really sure what you are asking. What message is appearing on your screen, what action(s) did you perform right before the message appeared on the screen, and what happens when the message appears?

      Great videos, good to finally know where to get the needed things to make a backup. My eMMC card was bad or corrupted right from the start Elegoo Neptune 4 Max. I have also ordered the linear rail kits you mentioned in other videos, thanks for the great information!!!

      I never expected creating these videos would be so time-consuming! I have a long list of potential videos in the queue, and most are applicable to both the Neptune 3 Max and the Neptune 4 Max.
