Trump was elected because of Hillary and Biden was elected because of Trump.
When Hillary & the DNC (& Bernie) screwed over their supporters by pulling the ole bait and switch by making Hillary the party candidate, that pissed off many people. Hundreds, if not thousands of Dems were so pissed off that they either refused to vote for a presidential candidate or voted for Trump out of spite towards Hillary. That is what put Trump in office.
The same thing in 2020, only this time it was Republicans that either did not vote forca presidential candidate or voted for Biden because they did not want another 4 years of Trump.
Neither were elected because they were the best man for the job, due to our corrupt political and election system, they were the only choices given.
The fact is, the voters do not now, nor have ever voted a POTUS into office. The POTUS is decided by a group of party puppets chosen by the elite of the parties. Not the American people. Hell, Americans are the ONLY country that only allows 2 political parties with the party elite deciding who is allowed on the ballot!! lol Then again, if the US held actual fair elections where the voters had a choice of candidates they choose instead of the corrupted party elites dictating who is allowed to be a candidate, all of this dark corrupt money and outright destructive status quo behavior would not be so easy .
The USG from the Federal to state, county & city governments is so corrupt that the majority of citizens have lost the ability to even recongnize the crimes it commits. Crimes in the US and worst, the crimes of spreading death and destruction the USG commits across the world.
      Shameful

@@jm7804 I was thrown off by his casualness about a counter offensive, as if the number of casualties hasn't been enough already.
Is this counter offensive going to be the end of it all, if not, then what will be?
It's okay to support Ukraine of course, but i just wonder what they think of when they picture Ukraine, what are they really supporting?
Russia wasn't going to take their identity away, they weren't going to take over the whole country.
How long until they start to actually care about the lives lost, realizing that it's not going to get better any time soon.
In the meantime, there have been calls and signals about negotiations, which have been ignored by the West and Ukraine.
Kiev was never really the target, but this refusal to budge is only going to destroy the country, because neither side is just going to stop without getting something out of it.
They could've kept Kiev before, but it seems that they've waited too long and were too stubborn (with the West's half hearted attempt at keeping them going).
The West and BRICS just want the resources, and Zelenskyy's stubbornness indirectly is basically taking care of the population numbers, clearing the way for the nations to take what they want.
All that matters eventually is which side is going to take the spoils, and BRICS is having the upper hand, but the West(mainly the US) dug in deep.
With people like Kisin, it's only going to take more lives.
      But whatever.

      @northwoodfalls1403 Рік тому +3

@@Games_and_Music I made the choice a while ago to mostly ignore him when he speaks on this subject. Not the humanitarian aspect of the war. War is always horrific (not that I have any personal experience but I’m still human and can see with my own two eyes that it’s horrific) and we need people to remind us all the time that these are human beings involved, not just numbers on a screen or colour coded dots on maps. He clearly has deep connections to that part of the world. Those are his people. He cares very much for them and that I cannot but respect. I simply don’t agree with him when he gets into the politics or the pronouncements of what will transpire. He has no special inside knowledge. He speaks to the people he knows there. He has no way of knowing what the reality inside the machine is and so his confidence is unfounded. People who ARE experts, who DO have useful intel from deeper inside the belly of the beast say very differently. I tend to listen to what they have to say more closely. Thinking that Ukraine becoming an official member of NATO will definitely end this is the most naive at best, dangerously asinine at worst thing anyone can say. His refusal to acknowledge the profound f*uckwittery of the US’s push closer and closer to Russia’s borders is aggravating to say the least. To continue to double down on the claim that it’s necessary exhibits a childish and immature, even emotionally centred view of the reality of geopolitics, and I just cannot take him seriously because of it. On this subject. But he gets my sympathy for the personal aspect of the situation for him.

Caught that too, but I think his thinking is there is a difference between speaking out in public (books, internet, etc.) and being a member in good standing of an organization that is permitted to close ranks and doors to outsiders. So in this regard, RFK can say anything he wants and run for President. But the DNC shutting him out of the their process isn't censorious...it's just them deciding who is in their private club.
One thing most people don't know is the Democrats do not permit open runs, for anything. They write rules for primaries and party job that are designed to maintain establishment purity by ignoring actual voters (see: Bernie). The Republican Party, on the other hand, uses a straight-line vote of people. The RNC is the more "democratic" of the two institutions in that regard (Donald Trump would have been "Bernied" by the RNC in 2016 if they had the rules to do it). This might be why we are seeing a lot more populist movement on the R side of the aisle these days - voters actually have some measure of voice in the RNC (at least marginaly more than the DNC).

@@cc8751 au contraire, my friend. It got good after he left. He knew he'll get polemic questions from the audience and is too much of a snowflake to handle anything critical that's gonna be thrown his way because chances are, most of the audience isn't a fan of his. I'm more flabbergasted as to why Bill didn't ask him hard-hitting questions as he usually does to his guests. Bill was such a kiss-ass in this episode, it's EMBARASSING. I never thought I'd see the light of day when my staunchly liberal hero, Bill Maher, would bow down to the rich.

You're here because of science, the government and private pharma. When you get sick or injured. You're not going to wonder who's saving your ass.
