I was inspired by David to start running. To stop being mediocre and start doing. I’m about a week into my journey to change myself to the better. I went on a run, I did not feel like it but I did anyways. Something in me told myself to run 4 miles 2 there and 2 back. The first mile was horrible for me, I was throwing up as I am out of shape and just stuffed my face but I pushed through. As approached the last mile I saw the road start to curve about a 1/4 up the road and I told myself I would not stop till I pass that point. As soon as I passed that point the podcast I was listening to silenced. I heard meowing and this kitten came out of the woods, starved left there. He’s home with us safe now. Just kinda crazy I don’t know why I decide to go this route today or run that far I just did

I finally hit 20k today that's a personal record. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started with just 3k a month ago, 2024 is amazing!

“Society thrives and preys on those with no discipline, this creates the perfect environment for the influence of corruption. Generations pass and soon the world is lost to the absolute or corrupt rulers.” Weakness and cowardice is because you are supplied and now you’re life is automated. WAKE UP LETS GO AND OBTAIN STRENGTH

Motivating yourself to love and care for your own well-being is a powerful act of self-compassion. Embracing self-love and prioritizing your mental, emotional, and physical health can lead to greater happiness and fulfillment in life.

It's all in the process, discipline and self belief. Sometimes you need to become the person you always wanted to become in order to live the life of the person you wished you were.
When started 1st company I visualized 20k months, until I made them happen, after a year 1/2 Every day.
I had no experience, or degree in the field of business, or marketing. I worked a full time job through all of this.
You can get your goal accomplished and see success. You just need to step into a positive mindset, become the person who thinks like a success. After a while, you will become that person and reach your goal.... then it's on to the next goal 😀

Goggins' story shows that it’s never too late to make a change. His relentless drive is proof that anyone can overcome their past and achieve greatness. How do you handle moments when your motivation starts to slip?

It all sounds very profound. But invalidating how you feel is also dangerous.
I think negative emotions are perfectly natural. We can be aware of them and understand them without the need to indulge them. He makes it sound like a sin. Which, of course it isnt

I am skeptical and questioning, but I could be wrong and would like some proof:
Is this really Alan Watts, or is it AI-generated? I have never come across this lecture before, and in today's world, it's hard to be certain. I am very skeptical about this and believe people are more easily persuaded when they hear Watts' voice. To me, Watts never seemed like someone who would promote stereotypes and encourage people to handle them in this way. This feels similar to the book "Surrounded by Idiots" or astrology, where we feel good about ourselves due to a perceived ability to "read" people.

It’s a cool narrative. Too bad it’s read by a darn machine. So many abnormal pauses detracts from the message. Whoever made this….read it yourself! A human voice is always best to reach humans.
