Well here’s a thought how about those jerks that make doona make an affordable version. What douche bags!! there’s no reason this cool product should be out of reach for the actual working class people. It ccost an arm and a leg. I’ve been trying to figure out how to safely attach extendable wheels to my affordable car seat as I have a bad back and sarcoidosis on my lungs making it very difficult to struggle with a bulky attachable one and of course when going to the house to the car etc I don’t want to bother with all that yet I often regret it as I can’t breathe by time I make it
You can purchase a travel system for much cheaper. Basically an infant car seat that you can snap into it’s compatible stroller. The doona is not a necessity, it’s just a convenient thing to have. There are also many downsides to the doona, it’s very short and very expensive for something your kid will grow out of fast. Your child’s safety always comes before your own convenience. Any car seat sold on the US market is safe and will protect your child. These will not.
The knock offs are often “designer” type dupes. No one needs a designer car seat if they cannot afford it. There are cheaper options that are safety tested compared with the knock offs.
Spending that much money I’m gonna go to the direct source instead of Amazon plus the color I wanted was more money on Amazon than the actually retailer is selling it for.
OOOOOORRRR you can do this AMAZING THING canned BUT DIRECTLY FROM THE BRAND. Therefore no guess-work...tf kind of advice was this? They don't sell Donna's in store ANYWHERE and very few major online retailers are even verified to sell them. I say that because I OWN ONE. Buy directly through then.
What the hell are you even going on about? They are definitely safe, and on a LOT of the indexes for crash safety even Britax preforms lower than GRACO and other cheap ass brands. That should tell you something, I literally OWN BOTH BRANDS carseats because they are heavily safety regulated and crash tested. Go on keep buying your cheap ass car seats and see how far they get you when you're in an accident, I'll stick with my $300+ to $500 carseats DIRECTLY FROM THE BRAND ONLY, thank you very much because I KNOW I'm keeping my kids safe and also FYI a child over a certain hight measurement and over 30 pound SHOULD NOT be using a Doona. They make that VERY KNOWN when you open the box and ready the manual.
its interesting to me that they didn’t test the actual doona…
There are other videos that compare the fake to the doona.
@@susanangell3259 I haven’t found any. Even looked up doonas crash test and there are no videos showing it in a crash.
Some of this is just for business. They always say made in China is not good, donna is probably also made in China.

Maybe people wouldn’t go get fake car seats and stuff if it was easier and affordable to buy the real thing 💯
There are many car seats that are affordable and equally as safe. There are also programs where you can get free car seats if you can’t afford them.

Designer seats aren’t a necessity. Baby bucket car seats can be purchased for as low as $40 or free with wic
@@AmberTerry-jt1pb somebody people just like the look or design of things the fake one is bout the same price so whatever the problem
Those carseats are not for children that big!
Well mine is the US version and has English on it but it's from China so I think im good plus it's only for my reborn dolls
🤔

Good observation the company is trying to avoid white labels from selling.
This is Jewish owned baby boutique by my house, sells them in store
Donna is not safe 100/100
you can secure the car seat without the base
See that’s what I was thinking as well
Donna is not safe it’s very small and the quality bad 100/100
