This video is a studio play-through of the track 'Intra Venus' from the 'Urn' tracking session Feb 2017. Drums engineered by Troy Mccosker at Pony music studios, Album mixed by Mark Lewis at Audiohammer Studios, FL USA.

Extreme metal playing variants :) That's what I like about this band.
Most of the stuff he does on all of their music is under the radar because it's done so well. I think if someone listened to any of their tracks, without seeing these playthrough videos of his, they wouldn't be nearly as impressed unless they are drummers with an exceptionally good ear.

As far as I know they were only on sale during the Ne O/BCI tour last summer, and at the end of the tour BCI had EVERYTHING stolen from them including all of the merch. I won't even wear my BCI shorts anymore since I don't think I can replace them if they get too worn.

IDK how he does it... There's just no one that makes these as tasty as Dan does. You know he could nail this shit at full speed through the entire song, and he does go full throttle at times (how fucking tasty are those blast beats btw?), but then the more simpler parts come in and creativity just shoots through the roof

Those violin parts had me instantly .. holy crap! The drumming is also on point, though I got distracted by his shoulders movements, when playing stronger backbeats.. is it a "feel-it"-thing? O.o
Usually is a feel thing, some of it is also time keeping as well.

I was thinking that. During the whole playthrough he appears to get his volume mostly out of forearms whilst for fills his shoulders even get more tense.
Does anyone know why he dropped off the Alluvial tour with Animals as Leaders at the last minute?
