Alright so for those with tiny hands like me, for Dmaj7, use your thumb to hold down the very top string and your pointer to hold down the bottom 3 ones. Rest your middle finger under the fret board? and it should be easier for your ring finger to hold the string down.
I'm still new to ukulele, I started like 15 minutes ago lmao

if youre having trouble with dmaj7, just use your index to bar the first three top strings ( G,C,E) then your ring or middle finger to hold A string (lowest string).

Special Kiwi here’s some advice! As a guitarist it’s much harder to do barre chords so when I started to play uke I took the same method over. Instead of putting your finger flat on the strings try using the side of your index finger, which is much more solid

Barre the second fret, when playing Dmaj7 you can still have your index finger down on all strings and use your ring finger for the one string. Then just take your ring finger off and that’s Bm7 😊

okay, in what way was this suppose to be easy? his finger placement isn’t easy to see. he also just goes straight into playing the song. he took 2 seconds to show you the chords and the strumming pattern and only one time. it needs to be shown a few more times so people can grasp it better. then he just starts playing the song like he’s not teaching anyone. he just recording himself playing 🤣
