My knees are hurting after the lockdown *inactivity* .. kindly address rebuilding inactive knees. Greatly appreciated! The pain happens *(i)* Running down a staircase, and *(ii)* Running outdoors as normal
Outstanding. Longtime follower and having consulted BASL and R2R I came looking for more depth and detail and that's just what you're providing here, making that basic maintenance that much the better and the targeted interventions for things that get missed that much more effective. Thanks!
Thanks for making this video . I've had pretty bad patella pain inconsistently for years and spent thousands on therapists who hadn't made much of a difference . Looking forward to applying all these techniques daily. Fingers crossed to be able to squat while not limiting weight by pain resurfacing .
I get a sore right knee when running sometimes, and the some pain sometimes flares up when I sit for ages at my desk at work, it’s always in the quad tendon on the patella and it was hurting the other day and I went to the gym and did some leg extensions (relatively low weight and high reps), and concentrated on knee extension and the pain went away.
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost the password. I love any tricks you can give me!
@Brian Uriah I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process now. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
I have this knee thing that started after I began running, but I don’t know what exactly is causing it, or what it is, so I don’t know how to fix it. It’s not constant knee pain. There is no pain when I run or lift weights, or any “typical knee pain” things. It’s only when my knee is bent and externally rotated. It doesn’t hurt while in this position, but it’s afterwards, when I straighten my leg back out. I have knee pain for about 30 seconds, and then it’s gone. Do you have any idea what the root cause of this could be and how to fix it?? Again, this only started after I added running in to my fitness regimen
Aidan Griffiths He still posts videos daily on Mobility WOD Pro. Yes, that’s a subscription service (and I’m not a subscriber but $10/month is actually very reasonable). Between his books (I bought his first Supple Leopard book the day it came out and still refer to it, Deskbound and Ready to Run were solid too) and the hundreds of free videos he has out there, Dr. Starrett has put out more than enough content to have a solid enough understanding of how to apply his principles. There are certain aspects that haven’t worked for me personally (i.e. thinking about screwing my hips into the ground to prevent a valgus knee fault actually led to knee issues) so don’t hold everything as gospel truth, but there is still tons of phenomenal information, especially about mobilization drills specifically rather than movement patterns, presented in simple terms. I’m guessing his first year of daily MWOD videos is still on UA-cam so you could check that out if you need a starting point. Also if his Creative Live seminar is still on UA-cam that’s worth checking out as well (I think it might be an abridged version of the real thing though because I remember watching it over the course of two days when it was a live webinar).
@@vythandalagappan8246 yes but none of that's on UA-cam so means nothing to me. Plenty of people have paid subscription services and posted daily or weekly content on UA-cam. I have his book. I just like to hear something from him as often as possible
Aidan Griffiths I mean he has 623 videos on his channel including a playlist of 199 daily mwod videos... I’d say that’s PLENTY of free content. The man and his family have to eat too lol I don’t blame him at all for wanting to have a subscription service (he strikes me as a pretty brilliant entrepreneur and marketer), especially AFTER a full year of free daily mwod videos. The creative live video is also still up and gives a great overview of some of his main concepts. 623 videos along with you already having the book will probably take you very far. Once you learn his fundamental principles it becomes pretty simple to try stuff on your own to great effect. And if you want more, you could always just subscribe to his pro service for $10 a month.
Aidan Griffiths then pay the man his money and get the subscription. He's put out game-changing free content for years, now he has a business that feeds his family well. Like @Vythand Alagappan said, the subscription is well worth it; just bananas on the amount of well-delivered knowledge. Pay people for their time and knowledge; don't go banging them up on their old free UA-cam channel years after they've changed the entire industry and continue to do so with a paid method that feeds their family
To everyone who responded by pitching the paid content... is the paid content more professionally put together? The content in this video is amazing, but the audio is extremely poor - no mic, high pitched background noice, coughing and other kinds of stuff going on in the background. Besides that, the content isn't very concise and seems to drag on. Compared to say AthleanX's video's, where the free content demonstrates a certain level of professinonality that got me to use the paid content. If the paid content is as bad audio wise, then I'd feel scammed. Otherwise sounds like a fine business model.
Amazing video!!! So informative and educational!!! Thank you ✨🙏🏻✨

For some of us, who have played soccer and run with wrong mechanics, there's a lot of this remedial work needs doing, but he who dares wins!!!

I hate that he is talking directly about my issues... time to change some things!!
Dude seriously your content game is shocking. You're brilliant no doubt. The best. But weeks and months between videos.... Not cool
