What's your favorite presentation for going back to basics?
Senko (watermelon red flake, black blue flake), white fluke, and jig... Ned rig, Texas rig, and wacky rig for my stick baits. Oh yeah and a black and blue craw
Old faithful for me is a weightless Texas rig with a Berkeley power bait 10” worm with the ribbon trail. And it catches biggins! Or a bullet weight with a sanko or craw nice and simple and just catches bass
Those are great ways to do it for sure!
FACTS!!!!
The stickbait has got to be one of the most versatile lures ever. If things are crazy hard for me then the drop shot is getting the nod. But I have got so much deeper clear water up here.
I'd like to be able to fish a drop shot more than I do. It's such a proven and effective presentation!
Ned rigs are my go to. I've been trying to keep things simple and your tips really help!
That's a great way to do it!
I always fish the basics!!! All the razzle dazzle i never got into
Sticking with the basics can be a really good thing!
Get you some tactical angler clips if you want to cycle through lures fast until you get something figured out
Thanks for the tip!
Hey Low Brow such a smart and simple way to go. Thank you for this video. I need to go to the wacky rig more when I’m in the boat. Thanks again bro!!
I'm happy you liked it! Thanks for watching!
I have probably purchased at least 20 torpedoes over the years in the 70s they were all the rage I caught many night bass on that lure 👍👍
They still work great!
More great information and tips! Thank you buddy!
Thanks for watching and all the support!
I started using a ned and a wacky rig with shad scent and it's been working really good. Caught a couple over two pounds last time .
That's awesome!
Basically, a Senko covers all three. A Senko can't really cover a minnow so you'd should have something like a fluke to cover the jerk and jig aspect. Just saying. And perhaps a topwater. In this, we'd have to consider whether you are bank fishng or boat. For boat, perhaps the jig might stand out. Shore? Somethin that can cast far and deep could be most versatile.
Thanks for watching!
Keeping it simple has caused my catch rate to skyrocket.
That's awesome!
Outstanding video once again I use KVD 15 minute rule !!!
Thanks so much for watching!
I always go simple. No better bait then a grub. Been using them for decades.
Hard to go wrong with a classic!
It's hard not to go crazy with all the rods I have on my front deck. I have to force myself to use only what I really think I need.
I do the same thing! I always want to bring all the gear!
Would you scent your baits?
Yes. absolutely!
I always end up overthinking everything 😂😅
I do the same thing!
