Gosh, valve did so well with this soundtrack. It perfectly captures the 60's Cold War aesthetic, with the jazz tones and subtle bass in the background, not to mention the prominent sax. Also, scout goes OFF on the bongos in faster than a speeding bullet.

They only care about the money because selling other developers games on steam is way easier and more profitable than putting in work.

The TF2 fight songs are so iconic and when anybody hears just one of these songs they know what it’s from, that’s why I believe that the game may not last forever but the songs sure as hell will.

I mean yeah, but I also kinda get how at some point you can get bored of a project and decide to never touch it again, even if it makes you money and people like it. It had its time, it's still awesome, but valve isn't going to do anything with it
I love how all the classes theme songs perfectly match the play styles they encourage. Faster than a speeding bullet and the art of war represent the soldier and scouts fast paced, high tension play style. Drunken pipe bomb and team fortress 2 perfectly match demo and heavys high potential for one man army moments. The three medic songs and more gun slowly build up in tension and aggression which mimics the ubercharge and upgrading of buildings. And right behind you and dreams of cruelty match the pyro and spies ambush and set everyone else up for a push gameplay. They all fit each character very well.
The angelic choir at 0:06 brings nostalgic tears to my eyes. Paired up with the animation just looks beautiful. I honestly feel like Medic is the coolest and most iconic of the mercenaries (Except maybe Heavy).

Bring a musician makes me appreciate this more. Not just because of how amazing the sound track is, but actually nailing every bit and making this soundtrack the way it is. This was played by a group of people, how many, don’t know, but they played in sync and made it perfect. I just imagine that some of the songs were supposed to be shorter, but the music team went with the flow and gave us these masterpieces
I love how all the classes theme songs perfectly match the play styles they encourage. Faster than a speeding bullet and the art of war represent the soldier and scouts fast paced, high tension play style. Drunken pipe bomb and team fortress 2 perfectly match demo and heavys high potential for one man army moments. The three medic songs and more gun slowly build up in tension and aggression which mimics the ubercharge and upgrading of buildings. And right behind you and dreams of cruelty match the pyro and spies ambush and set everyone else up for a push gameplay. They all fit each character very well.
