Any ideas how well does the Kirin compte to SD 845 in gaming. Because I’m looking for a gaming phone and Honor 10 is one of the options. But I heard Honor 10 has (over)heating problems but not too sure were they fixed. So if you guys know something could you let me know?

The Honor 6 was amazing. It had 3GB of ram and an Octa-Core CPU in 2014, for a price of 300USD in Hong Kong. It was crazy good value, performed smooth and well for 2 and a half years straight, finally lasting three years until the battery life got worse and worse in early 2018. And now I have a regular Mate 10 and has made me a die-hard Huawei fan.

I actually remember comparing the spec sheet on GSMArena with my friend's Iphone6 at the time, and it practically beat out every hardware feature that phone had. Of course, I later learned that Apple has their own optimization on their software that lets them get away from using slightly inferior hardware on paper, but it was still funny to see his shocked face when I told him the honor 6 costs a third of his phone.
Shalin D Haha yeah mate batteries definitely don't last that long unless you're planning on replacing it. Though I could definitely recommend the Mate 10 as your next phone, it's been quite easy to transition to it as I still have a headphone jack, microsd slot, IR blaster (honor 6 had it too) and a QUAD HD screen. Shame that these features aren't present on the regular P20 at all.
I have the Honor 20 and it's a banger. It's fast and reliable. The battery is the best I've ever had.

I am using honor 6 for 45 months now. Currently my secondary phone as the battery life is not that great after such a long usage and the adhesive on one side is hardened which has caused a small gap. But Honor 6 was the best phone I ever owned.

Using honor 8 pro almost 1 years...qhd screen.. Pretty loud speaker.. Camera is not bad.. The only i hate it is no equalizer settings.. Never has any problems

Zoom was great. 2x doesnt make any blurred and still sharp. the only downfall was the front cam, too white and beauty ai still effects even it is off

I like to call Honor, Huawei lite. Honor's fitness bands is my go-to compared to Huawei's. They both have the same specifications, with Huawei's having a bit more "flourish", but I like Honor's more affordable one's.
I have had Honor 8 for eight months now and I love it, much better than my old LG Spirit. I was considering between P10 Lite and Honor 8 and chose Honor 8 as it is faster. Apparently P10 Lite has FM radio that Honor does not have (not a really useful feature).

Battery life is amazing, although in the list of devices getting GPU boost I did not see North America in there and it seems Not America is also kept at low priority for updates according to some users.

I purchased honor 10 just after one day's using of my sister's spare honor 8. I think the fluidic and battery of honor serize is pretty good.

This is a great initiative and I well appreciated. I had in mind that Huawei and Honor phones are manufactured in the same factory. I am using Honor 10 since May 2018. Raised a couple of issues in Twitter for this device. Call recording feature is not available. FM radio is also not available. Appreciate their regular updates every month for security updates.
No Huawei phones these days have a call recording feature nor an FM radio. I think only some of the cheap Huawei phones still do have FM radio.
Hgo S Call recording is provided in almost all phones including Flagships. FM radio may be in Huawei cheap phones but it is also provided in flagships like Asus Zenfone 5Z having latest chipset SD845.
Most people in my country use spotify or other streaming services instead of FM. Well security updates are good. I hope Huawei and Honor will ditch that stupid bootloader lock policy.
Caller recorder is available on phones which depends on markets and phone manufactures. There is neither call recorder on LG phones. Samsung phones in Korea does not have this feature either.

So I used to be a HTC Fanboy, but damn, they just don't deliver good Specs for those prices anymore..
Started with the Desire C, then Desire 820 and then the Desire 10 Lifestyle and the Honor 7X still was an Uprgrade though Prices were the same (around 250€) so I must say, they're not bad at what they do. Also I love the EMUI and the Overall Appearance of the Phone, just looks good, feels good and imho makes HTC Sense look too overboard.
My first huawei phone was Honor 6 and then change to Honor 6 Plus which is the first huawei smartphone with dual camera lense (if im not mistaken).. And now im using Huawei P20.. Love all of them..great job by Huawei/Honor..
90% of the very top specs for 50% of the price. That's why I bought mine.

I had a Chinese honor 6 dual sim, it was full of Chinese bloatware but people were blown away I had a dual sim phone. Also had 6+, 7 and now an 8. Waiting for the turbo graphics update before I buy another honor. Looming forward to seeing the price point for the honor play.

As a honor 8 user, I feel good with all the emui feature and processor, camera last but not least the design. As a 350 dollars phone, honor 8 still beats pixel, Galaxy,one plus in the design section

Hi, i have an Honor 5c since about 2 years now and i love the UI. EMUI has some very USEFULL features like the global searching for exemple and is very intuitive/simple. I had no hardware or software problems with it so far, great phone for the price.
I got the honor 7 a few months after it came out and it was hands down best phone I ever had for its value.. Then 2 years later I bought the honor 9 and they topped it brilliant
Watching this on my old Honor 6, I've been using it for 3 years and 3 months, but I upgraded to the Honor 9 lite in February.
Huawei makes fantastic phones.....the big to do is really about their 5g phones and their 5g network......other manufacturers Apple/Samsung still have millions of 4g phones to sell before they enter 5g generation.

I can say I have bought a Honor 9 a year ago and I love it. It's a killer phone, comparable to Huawei's P10, with the exact same performance and a similar camera (only lacks the Leica branding, but it's basically the same) for a considerably lower price. It has regular updates which always improve performance (unlike my old iPhone) and add nice features. I'll be buying more Honor products in the future, that's for sure!

I'm using honor 6x and huawei and honor both are one company. Honor makes or use good components in starting but after more demands honor use second factory components .like they change camera sensor and screen easily detectable.

The honor 7 is still my favourite phone design. the extra button is the best feature ever. I wish they would have kept it for newer devices. Also I don't like the trend of the front mounted fingerprint sensor.

I have a Honor 5C, bought 1week after its release. Broke its screen, but doing well overall. Sometimes when the cpu is working hard on something it produce some lag, but it rarely freeze. Just wandering how good this phone was when it came out...1080p ips, fingerprint sensor, 8core 2ghz cpu etc...nowadays midrange Honors and Huaweis barely better(kirin 650vs659, 1-2 gb ram plus, but aame gpu - so almost nothing changed).
Will buy a H10 next month, its time to retire my 5C...all i wanted to say, that these phones are supreme in quality for the price compared to others....my veteran phone would never die itself i think...if i were not have higher needs in gaming, i would have use it for at least 2more years. I recommend Honor for everyone!!!

Makes sense when you think about it, on one hand you have a company who is very close to making the BIG TWO of the smartphone industry (Samsung and Apple) into a BIG THREE...
On the other hand you have Honor which is very appleaing to my generation (30 and under)...
Every years Honor keeps up with the trends of the most popular phones and takes what's good, then adds their own flavor to it and always puts flagship specs into an affordable device...
Huawei Honor 9 Lite very good phone for 120 euro, bought one for my sister, it has a 13 mp selfie cam wich is pretty good.
I'm in China right now. I have an Honor 7X and it works well. The specs are quite good for the price, but I'm not naïve. I know why Huawei has trouble with many foreign governments. As a state-backed corporation, Huawei has direct ties to the Chinese government. This can raise national security concerns as Huawei, as well as ZTE, have a reputation for participating in IP theft, data collection on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party and blatantly violating US sanctions against Iran and North Korea. Both companies are on the CIA and FBI watchlists and restricted from use by employees of many US government agencies.

I'm going to buy Honor 9 lite and this phone has the same characteristics as Huawei P Smart but still cheaper and has a beautiful color (blue 💙).
I am using honor 8 pro. It has awesome camera. Battery is also awesome. I shoot lenghthy 4k video and get hot. But i continue it doesnt give any problem. Even iphone is iron hot that way. Great phone.

Honor just seem to do everything right, by that I mean I've had nothing but compliments from people who have seen my 7x, the camera is the best I've seen on a phone this price range. I've said in other video comments that honor aren't trying to reinvent the wheel like apple or Samsung but just make consistently good phones that keep up with demands, since giving my tablet up about 2 weeks ago my honor 7x is currently acting as my core device, as much as this is only temporary this thing is holding up really well even with almost 150gb of content via SD card, in the future I'd love to see honor attempt a surface alternative or something hence their "brave" slogan it would be a hell of a bold move

I bought a Honor 8 Lite. Amazing phone. Problem is it's only 16 GB. You're better off getting a Q7. My friends bought it. More screen ratio and 32 GB memory and better graphics and processor (Snapdragon) for only 20 more euros. Thank me later ❤️.
Thanks for this video, this helps clarify the difference but at the same time I am still confused. The Honor 10 is missing an SD card slot so it is looking like an Apple product - pay more for less but it is shiny. I hope they will still make phones for those of us who just want value and not just something shiny. I have the Honor 7 and it has been amazing value. I will not be getting the 10 though. Of course I am not one of this generation. But I won't buy Hauwei for the same reason so I don't get that part.
Michael Gerrard yes exactly. My P20 pro is missing this as well. But do I miss it? Not really, Spotify streaming makes me not need alot of space for music. I backup my pcis and videos weekly and I use cloud alot. What do you need the SD for? I do get it that alot of space is good, but I started to not need it anymore. And yes honor makes their products more flashy and tries to keep them lower priced to target the younger ones. I think to target you, they would need a product that's more technical "refined" with SD slot, headphone jack etc. Right?
Michael Gerrard Brother, I don't know, it's because of different zones or something, but here in Indian version of Honor 10, its has hybrid dual Sim slot, 2nd Sim card can be replaced with Sd card, according to your usage.
I don't know about any of that but the Honor 10 is the best mid-ranger right now so I bought it.
5 more days for my blue Honor 10 to come, and it seems like a really long time...

Huawei is the best. I love the EMUI. Their UI is more optimised than any other brand's UI.
Debashish Datta You can't be serious?!. EMUI is the most fragmented and heavy skin over android of any brand. Likely worse than even Samsung's previously known touchwhiz, it's so heavy that a number of android apps are not compatible and Huawei have trouble optimizing it to be smooth and lag free, and then have even greater difficulties in bringing timely updates. Those lead times again rival Samsung for the slowest update cycle award. So if they can't even bring timely updates then you can bet they haven't the infrastructure to brilliantly optimise the OS. Updates to skins need major work for the developer once they are released from Google and this is just to get it working and pushed out to consumers, they then have the task of optimizing it across the board of android and this takes so much work that they have repeatedly failed to achieve this feat before the next OS update arrives from Google, which in turn puts them on the backfoot slowing down further updates. Not to mention no third party are going to be able to optimize an OS better than those who designed and built it so I think the Google Pixles take the 'best optimised OS trophy', sorry to disappoint you.

I have honor 5x and the phone was very popular all over the world. But to be honest just like Samsung touch wiz 5x has slowed very badly. Forget about software updates there was no security updates too after purchase.. For me goodbye to honor. Forgot to add my phone failed in between and luckily I convinced company to change the motherboard of the phone.
