"Doctor, I let you go..."
What an emotional roller-coaster Christmas special was. We said goodbye to The Twelfth Doctor. My favourite Doctor. As many of you already know, It's especially hard for me to let this incarnation go. He was the reason I started editing TV shows, he was the reason I got through hardest times in my life. But then I let go. Just like Peter.
Thank you Peter for these wonderful years. You've been fantastic and you are one of the main reasons the show is still alive and keeps going. Thank you for your hard work and you'll be never forgotten.

But more than anything, he's a hero. Our hero. I think Capaldi's very flawed and insecure yet kind and wise doctor showed us this more than any other doctor. And that's why he's my favourite and always will be. And that's why I will miss him, like you would miss a very dear friend who still always will be with you

I think we've all missed something. When 11 was dying, the last words he ever heard was Clara begging him not to change. When 12 was dying, he hesitated to change because he felt like he couldn't keep being "someone else". In Clara's perspective, he was somebody different. He was the doctor but he wasn't HER doctor. In Deep Breath, he made a metaphor by saying if you slowly change each piece of a broomstick, is it the same as the original? He looks at a mirror and somewhat examines himself just after saying this, which means he feels like he is someone different. It explains why he was so reluctant to change. Just a theory.
You people don't understand what the quickening is do you? To change within the twinkle of an eye. Not another person but the same person but with a higher evolutionary quality of universal survival in any environment whatsoever. In other words Merry Christmas! This also goes with odysseus's ship. The original ship was not in one piece by the time King Odysseus made it home. A philosophical paradox. But I am a Christian so I play with a different paradox. in other words a Christian is unstoppable; will not die. Even though we do LOL. Play with those paradoxical questions get your answers. Thank you doctor.. correction . I got the two ships confused . Only because Odysseus ship was out there for so long it had to be repaired so much. "The ship of Theseus, also known as Theseus’ paradox, is a thought experiment that raises the question of whether an object that has had all of its components replaced remains fundamentally the same object."

When you think about it. His Doctor has a hell of an arc. He became Godlike and detached as he got older. When started he was a great man but not a good man. That final speech really seals the deal of him telling the next form what he has relearned. To be kind.

There won’t be any Doctor Who video for a year. Thank you everyone for loving my DW edits. I don’t want to force things and make rubbish videos. I might change my mind in few months, but now wounds are fresh my Doctor is gone and I need some time to ‘recover’.
This gives me an opportunity to edit other shows. I hope you’ll stay and enjoy the other things I can offer.

It about time i said something on here so here we go. I just want to say that the videos you create and such high standards are nothing more but breathtaking! The amount of times your clips not just on doctor who but on other TV Characters that have made me feel such emotion is amazing. Your detail within the video making is amazing. many time when we are low we have all made movies about someone like this in are heads! but now you guys have made them come to life! Man, I miss 12. He was my Doctor and in Peter Capaldi's time, there were only a few episodes that I thought were actually bad. Not to mention the fact that Heaven Sent is my favorite Doctor Who episode ever! This music really describes the best parts of 12 and his time on the show.

This is beautiful. You're honestly one of the few UA-camrs who make me feel every emotion in just a few minutes. Your timing, your music is always superb and I honestly find myself repeatedly watching the same videos of yours over and over again. Peter capaldi's era is a character study not just of his doctor but of the doctor in general because he was a new one in the regeneration cycle so he had to learn how to be the doctor again.
I broke when the flashbacks started of past doctors and companions. Whenever I think you can't possibly top any of your previous videos you go ahead and astound me. Thank you for this.
It's almost been 2 years, and I still can't let him go. 9 was my first, but 12 will always be my favorite. Peter Capaldi brought so much to the role, and 12 truly was a Doctor of kindness. One day, for me, there might be a Doctor who will surpass him. But not now, not yet. I can't let go yet. Your videos are truly spectacular, and I appreciate that you love this Doctor so much :) thank you for all the time and skill you've put into these videos, can't wait to see all the ones to come.

It’s 2022 and I still can’t get over him and his acceptance of his life, him and Clara genuinely hurts to know that’s a story finished forever
I started watching Doctor Who with 9th. When I saw for first time 12th Doctor I hated him, I stoped watching Doctor who, thinking to watch it again after 3 season whith his regeneration. I suppose I didn't like see an old Doctor. I started to watch the important episodes of the classic era and understanding who the Doctor was. Then I started watching Peter Capaldi. At the start he was and antipathic Doctor as the 1st Doctor was, but like him, both Doctor evolved showing their kind side. I saw the evolution of him and he's now my favourite Doctor Clara and Bill made the 12th Doctor was better Doctor, with evolution of his character. He's dead should be the end of Doctor Who (at least he's dead is an end of an era), a Doctor that want rest, who lose everything and who can't see more partners die. He always will be in ny heart.
In some way, I wish they ended this show with a final season of Capaldi where he makes amends with his worst enemies and he finally let's The Doctor go once and for all.

Certainly the best I've seen. Capaldi's been amazing whatever you can reproach him or his episodes. He kept on improving and developing his character with the help of Moffat's writing. I honestly don't care about what certain people will say, Capaldi's era is memorable, with ups and downs like anything else.

Capaldi is amazing! He is everything I loved about the 10th doctor, minus the romance and a little less enthusiasm/energy. However, Capaldi was, to me, the perfect doctor. Having the power the past doctor's have to the point where he is called having a God complex, but having the compassion of someone who can say "Do you think I care for you so little that betraying me would make a difference?" is absolutely incredible. He is a kind and softhearted father, the fierce protecter of our specie, and witty enough to make us all smile. He preaches love and forgives all until he is left no other choice. He is curious, fascinated by the world around him despite all of his knowledge, and loyal. He is the most determined Doctor I have seen. Everything about Capaldi is amazing. I had my doubts at the start, but he discovered himself as the Doctor and became a hero to all. Thank you Peter for the amazing gift you brought to this show, and thank you TheGaroStudios for this well-deserved tribute of an amazing actor! You're work is always amazing.

Honestly this would have been a perfect ending. When tenth disappear i wish he could do more. When eleventh disappear i was sad. Then twelve was about to disappear, he told us to be nice and kind. The last sentence by the Doctor for me will always be "Doctor, i let you go" and thats the ending of dr who for me.

My first doctor was Capaldi. Despite being an older doctor, one of only 3 in fact (Hartnel,Hurt,Capaldi), he was quite a change. i still loved him though and his magnetism as the Doctor drew me into the show, which i am now watching previous episodes of (series5). Although Matt Smith and David Tennant are absolutely FANTASTIC (wink, wink), Capaldi will always be the one to be on the top spot for me.

It hurt so much to see the 12th to go, Peter Capaldi got to live his dream of being The Doctor and he was one hell of a doctor, my favorite and in my eyes the best. The kind moments the sad moments the angry moments. He was a calm and kind doctor who hid a storm under himself which i admired. I hope Jodie can do an amazing job as the 13th
I love the Twelfth Doctor. BUT! This video... with all the previous scene of him from Series 8 until Series 10, makes me even love him more! I'm gonna miss him. I need to realise/remember that Peter Capaldi has always been the fan of Doctor Who. So, he want to make his departure as astonishing, amazing, remarkable, and be unforgetable like he wants to.
