A firmware update has been released to make the paddles better to use. Another UA-camr Genxgrownup released a video on how to add ROMs to this via the USB. Overall though from the videos I have seen it looks like a good purchase. I'll probably be ordering one in the future.

You can add ROMs, or rather play them from a USB flash drive, by using an OTG cable. There's actually a video on UA-cam explaining how to end up having over 900 games on it while using a USB flash drive. Nearly every 2600 game there is. Also, the firmware has been upgraded, making the paddles work a lot more smoothly.
My biggest two complaints are the joysticks and the paddles. The joysticks are really cheaply made and just too loose. And while the paddles work fine, the ones that came with mine are a good bit stiffer to turn than traditional Atari paddles. The loosen up as they get warmer from use, but the next time you go to use them they're back to being stiff. Thankfully, I can substitute both with an extra joystick as well as set of paddles I got for my 2600+.
Mine is a Flashback 12 Gold. The only difference between the 50G and 12G are switch and logo colors. I love it.

I'd wish they would do an Atari Flashback of the 800/XL/XE computers. The games are better looking, the sound is good and the gameplay attraction remains.

Well you sorta are in luck. I've read several times that Retro Games Ltd the guys that made the C64 mini/maxi and the A500 have a licensing agreement to make Atari ST Mini's. I don't know when that is happening but that and an Amiga 500 maxi are in the works.

I had Atari but tried emulating them and now they are unplayable. Some games are still good but not worth the effort of paying money. The Colecovison has the best games now that can still be played to some satisfaction. It's Burger Time is the best version after the BT arcade (but still prefer the Burger chase c64 clone).
