Elton John has been my favorite artist since I was starting to listen to music (im only 21 XD) and a huge inspiration to learning piano, and he will continue to be my favorite. Your videos are the best ones I have been able to find that shows actual accurate accompaniment and not the melody, and I thank you so freaking much! Please keep them coming!
No, at least not anytime soon. I did Crocodile Rock live in Madison Square Garden 1999 last year so it'll have to be a while before I revisit another performance. This has been something that I've wanted to do though! Transcribe the way a song was played in the 1970's and then compare it to another performance from the 1990's or 2000's, just to see how his playing style changes and adapts through the years. Glenn Breed already has an excellent live rendition of Your Song from 1974, for example, and I'm about halfway finished with a performance from 1995. I did pause that transcription to get Burn Down The Mission started and completed though. But I don't want to make a habit of re-transcribing every song twice, just a few. And the performances would have to be pretty different in order to warrant it.
I owe Glenn so much with my music knowledge and Elton's playing style it's not even funny. I would still be playing Hot Cross Buns if it weren't for him.
Genial. Es de los tutoriales de Tiny Dancer en piano más completo y parecido a la versión original que he visto. Se te adelanto un poquito la voz en ciertas partes por cierto
All of the music that I transcribe is time sync'd to the original performances. This was made by Glenn Breed which doesn't change tempo, leading to the vocals being slightly out of sync in places.
Sheet Music available for free via: eltonscafe.net/Songs/TinyDancer.htm

1:19 I love the intense colors of the midies! Really, really fierce coloring among other piano tutorial videos.
A very cute color filter...
Thank you very much!
