It's like a bunch of dads that went to their kid's battle of the band, and just showed them all up. Love FNM.
best comment ever, just noticed it now. love this 😁
dude, great comment, made me think of Bill and Ted...FNM did Perfect Crime for the soundtrack to the 2nd one
Blaine McGovern Jim Martin was in Bill and Ted
Jacob Joyett yep, had one line: "Station!" Lol
HA!
Mike Patton is like a fine wine, he gets better with age.
That yell during that solo is epic!!!! What a voice!!!
Mike Patton will forever be the king of rock. Dude keeps on getting better with age.
yep
Vheissu yep
The whole band does.
Being in Faith No More without being the lead singer is like touching Beyonce's boobs instead of touching Beyonce's butt.
He has ripened like a cherry tomato!
His neck keeps getting bigger... bodes well
I used to be an atheist, but now I believe in Mike Patton.
He is a God, if not THE God.
All hail Mike Patton.
All hail Mike Patton and Satan!
@@maovslandlords9244 Hey let's not get carried away to far overboard. I think Mr. Patton can handle fame and stardom just fine by himself.
@@rondohunter8966 Thank you for getting that under control 😆 10000% agree.
@@nycriotgrrrl6110 Unlike some artists who reach fame, Mr. Patton is still standing quite well on his own two feet and breathing. Self-control. A legend.
Bordin still a goddamn wrecking ball behind that kit. He never gets the credit he should.
Finch Lynch
Too right mate, Love M Bordin
+Finch Lynch agreed!!
Ditto. He's a monster.
agreed!
Agree! He was punishing those drums!
One of the greatest bands in history. Definitely the best frontman in history.
😂
@@BH02377 Laugh all you want...but, he's definitely one of the best this world has ever seen.
@@MichaelGrubbEvolvedMinistry yes he can sing everything
I chucked twenty quid at him once, and he bummed me senseless. Good old Mickeen.
Bordin is an animal. One of the drummers that heavily influenced me early on. Shamefully underrated!! Long Live FNM🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Watch him with Sepultura
Same!!!! definitely influenced some a lot of my playing
@@zdravkokirov6256 you don’t say!!?? I must Google that now!!!
Is he underrated? He's always been one of the greats in my view, and just about everyone I've known who appreciates good rock drumming. He's highly respected.
Badass on Jerry Cantrell's Deg Trip album.
Bordin hitting those drums like they owe him money.
Where is Jim Martin ??
@@martymartin904 he left the band after Angel Dust
@@martymartin904 Jim hasn't been in the band since 1994.
Hahahaha!
They probably do!!! Have you seen what BMI pays for royalties if you could even call them royalties?!!?
I've always had a severe man-crush on the bass sounds of Mr. Billy Gould
And Zon basses have a natural growly grind that sets them apart. There have been a few bass players over the years, that, when I investigated why I loved their sound, there was a Zon in there somewhere.
Always been a fan of his sound myself. In this track, his sound makes me think Paul D'Amour of early Tool, kinda a clean mixed with dirty setup, I dunno...
it's always this thick frenetic sound like it's going to explode.
I also admire his occasional minimalist approach, such as the main bass lines for Epic and We Care A Lot. He’ll play the same note over and over, simply because it fits with the song percussively.
Seeing Patton start those middle eastern chants at 3:16 never fails to give me goosebumps.
+FaithNoMan You must love his vocals in the Tomahawk song Mescal Rite 2. It rules.
FaithNoMan Yes 😀
Holly R And the part near the end of goodbye sober day with bungle! That one is some kinda straight up middle eastern curse.
@@fairweatherfriends.
Haha, now that you mention it, it sounds like a straight up curse:
"May your sun be blown out just like a candle.
May your sea burn with tar.
May your sky be rolled up just like a scroll.
May your blue moon drip with blood."
@@fairweatherfriends. it describes the christian apocalypse pretty closely so you're only half right
The delicate sound of heavy bass ❤
This blows the album version out of the water. Tremendous live performance.
100% agree....
the guy behind the mixing desk did a really good job.
👌

can't ignore that! major A's on this work.. flawless victory in this whole performance by FNM & the sound team on this testimony.
I cherish this one more than the album version🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
that billy basssss sound
Billy is a monster, theyre all great, just wish Jim Martin couldve joined, read that he wanted to but i think maybe things just didnt work out between him and Mike, hope they can put it aside andgive us one More album with that lineup
Blaine McGovern Why ditch the guitarist they have? There was a lit of acrimony surrounding Jim leaving. if half was to be believed then we're better off.
Also they've released as much without Jim as with. *This* is FNM.
jpgduff not ditch, he's good, just would've liked to have him back that's all, it's a pipedream👌
i've got his zon signature bass. signed by bill. but fuck me.. i can't get it to sound like that lol!
The drummer looks like a wise old sage with those dreads.
Dude, if you're reading this, you've got beautiful dreads and you're an amazing drummer! Respect! Love this band.
lol, wise old sage, thats awesome, Mike Bordin is his name
Mike “Puffy” Bordin on drums
Mike Fuckin' Bordin.
Mike Mother Fucking Borden! He influenced me as a drummer along with Nick Menza (RIP) Bill Ward and Jerry Gaskill of King's X.
Funny story is that a few weeks agobmy 20 year old son watched this w me and then he watched some FNM on The Tonight Show in 1992, and the one thing he noticed and loved was that he thought its too cool that his dreads were just black back then and now is silver.
One of my favourite bands from the 90s & they've still got it. Mike Patton is one of the best lead singers ever!
Love these guys. Raw and original. Always were. They sound so good. Were amazing live. I'm glad to see a real band back and offering refreshing new music again.
FNMCaffeine Nice Disco Volante pic.. love seeing fellow Bungle fans.
James Knight Thnx. Hardcore Patton fan.
FNMCaffeine Same here man. I have a full cover of Retrovertigo that I made entirely from scratch and I'd be honored if a hardcore Patton fan like you checked it out, if you have time of course. Keep rocking the Patton!
Well put, ive loved FNM since about 1990, i was 14, they were unique, still are, still love em, and Pattons voice is still as strong as it was back then...guess it helps too that he stayed active vocally with so many projects over the yrs
I love Mr Bungle and everything Mike Patton has done in his career so far, will be seeing him live with Tetema next year in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia and I cannot wait. I am also an artist, I did a Mike Patton pencil rendering on canvas took me 9 months to do lol. Anyway i really love being in the Patton community of loyal fans. Faith no More for life :D
How can he still sings like that?
Amazing technique, amazing vocals
I came for my idol Mike Patton. Really great musicians. Bravo!
Billy on that bass....my god! Still get chills listening to this.
He's so underrated.
This recording is so much better mixed than the one on the album! Patton's muezzin-like part starting at 3:15, which I never noticed before, sends shivers up my spine!
agreed.... his vocals are sooooooo amazing!!!!!
Mike is considered (Im not wrong in this, ill fight anyone who says different, dukes up!) one of the best, if not the best vocal singers of all time, just.. all his music.. amazing!
yes yes yes
If you don’t know you just dont
@@mickymacirl That ain’t even an opinion, that’s just straight fact. Axl Rose is the only one giving him a run for his money, at least in the context of mainstream rock music. Difference is, Axl fucked his voice up. Mike has always been smart about it.
By all logic, Mike Patton shouldn’t have any vocal cords left. That’s why I know he is a God.
still touring in 2021!
You all probably dont give a damn but does anyone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account..?
I stupidly lost the login password. I love any tips you can offer me
@Mack Jagger Instablaster :)
@Kristopher Andres thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now.
I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Kristopher Andres it worked and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my account !
3:15 Gosh his vocals really hit me in the feels
What a flawless performance of such a badass song.
they give new meaning to the word FLAWLESS
Puffy and Billy were like thunder on Sol Invictus. Captured well here
Watching these guys play is genuinely unreal. There’s so much talent it’s insane
Damn that sounds better than on the album. What a band.
Genius at work! Sir Patton!
That bass line is spectacular.
I'm from Dallas Texas and remember back in the early 90's I worked warehouse with a kid from California who turned me on to Faith No More and I will never forget 🤘🏼💯
Billy Gould has some seriously dirty basslines up his sleeve. I feel like he often goes unnoticed.
I feel sorry for anyone else on that show. FNM made them look like amateurs.
I wish I could hit the drum like Mike Bordin, when I am 55
+Sukulpat Khumpaisal I wish I could hit the drums like Mike Bordin.
love these guys. Patton like a wine. jajaja. Amazing soud
Mike Patton is freakingly great 👍 Love this band
faith no more will always be on top
El sonido de este baterista es espectacular. Mike bordin es increíble.
Y si te das cuenta, esa melodía tiene una esencia al álbum de los 90's Angel Dust, quedó buenaza, pero con una voz más madura de Patton
Go Mike!
Old but solid gold.
This guys are amazing! Never been a fan, but about to become one.
Fantastic! Now upload the whole damn thing!
Matador at the start. I can’t get over that godamn vocal performance. Mike Patton is just something else
This band had massive effect on me awesome
I'll never not be amazed by how he's able to play that kit so smooth with the toms like that. I'd throw my shoulder out of its socket in no time trying to play like that.
There are vocalists who sing, there are fewer vocalists who use their voices like an instrument, and there is Mike Patton who uses his voice like an entire music store.
When you got it, you got it. And man, they still got it.
Perfection. The bass, the voice, the drums.. etc.. Mr. Patton has always amazed me, since I heard the first Bungle album when it came out. Wore out the cassette 2 times, CD's the same. The mixture of all we know and makes it resonate in our minds. What an incredible sound you always create with others.. some of it a little disturbing, some of it uplifting. Thank you, perfect mix.
Been listening to these guys since I was 15 (and Mr. Bungle)....in my 40s and they never get old. FNM will always be a favorite & IMO, they are highly underrated.
Mike Patton, equally comfortable in a stadium, dive bar, or opera house. Legend.
This is brilliant 👍
Love you Mike, you keep me going! Thank you for you truth, patriotism and love meant for all of us! Always with me and family. MM, Tucson, AZ 💗 🕊️✝️
What a band, what a band my god..
I REALLY want this in an MP3. To me it sounds so much more robust than the studio track does.
Convert it from mp4
I like Gould at the Warsaw concert..that man has done a lot. Produced and played with many. The drummer? Killer.
loving it. glad there back around. there so amazingly underrated its not even funny. there still killin it
totally agree with every word!
Nice little smile at the end
Show me thé frontman at 50 WHO still singing like that at his âge!
Bruce Dickinson
Devin townsend
Roko Milić you can‘t compare mike with till lindemann.. till just has a fucking deep voice but could never nearly sing as great as mike patton
simply red
da835t lol
Masters of their respective crafts, and such a joy to watch.
This is the benchmark! It doesn’t get better than this! Ever👍🏻
Its seems almost Alien to see a full blown Guitar band doing a Radio 1 session in these days of EDM and pseudo folk singer-songwriters. FNM still got it.
Dale Hagger man, u said it all!!! \m/
A-fuckin-men, sir.
This is one of those rare performances where clinical professionalism (it sounds almost identical to the studio version) is combined with the same
raw, live energy that sometimes gets in the way of the actual playing (not that anyone being at a great live show cares about perfectionism
when the guitar player is crowdsurfing, the drumkit is literally on fire and the singer is drinking urine from a shoe).
Been listening to FNM since my teenage yrs!!!
Congratulations on having phenomenal taste in music all this time 🤘🏻
I was about 10 years old! 🤘
Mike Patton is EASILY one of the best, if no THE best rock singer! his range and vocal talents are unbound!!!!
He’s the greatest. No contest
Glad to see Mike and the guys doing well and kicking major ass.
This is so on point.
These guys are amazing. Every single one of them. My age and they just blow me away still after all these years.
These BBC performance mixes are every bit as good as the album. Top shelf.
It's like they never left.
This actually sounds much better than the album. Same applies to Separation Anxiety. Stunning quality.
Meanwhile,Anthony Kiedis is crying.(out of tune,of course)
This made my day, thank you!
At least his band can play more then open palms to a 1-2 beat
@@poopinfruz9771 you obviously haven’t heard all of FNM and Mr. Bungle, and tomahawk, and fantomas, and dead cross and tetema, and so on and so on
Who cares? The Red Hot Chili Peppers are also great. Just enjoy the music, dumb ass.
@@expatveteran7815 if only he had as many good songs as he has bands lmao. What a dork
CHILLS! It's nice to know one of my favorite groups of all time is not only still around, but also not just a pale version of what they once were, which sadly is the case for a lot of bands that I grew up with in the 90's. This was amazing.
agreed, FNM still got game
this band is legend forever like a lot of bands
Pure merveille organique.. patton au panthéon des artistes majeurs❤. Faith no more manque au rock!
Still fking awesome!
THIS SONG PROVES JUST HOW TRULY TALENTED THESE GUYS ARE
FAITH NO MORE IS A SUPERBAND DUE TO THEIR MUSICIANS
Even at 16 years old in my '89 Chevy Corsica (with a capable tape deck), I was bragging on these guys, and they keep delivering. The bar.
Possibly the best put together track of all time. Chills like no other
That note at 2:53 is beautiful
I love this song. They killed it in this version. So many gems in this song
Mike Bordin best drummer!!!!!
Renan Menezes You mean Puffy.
To watch him work a kit, is like watching Mozart on piano @@reinforcedpenisstem
Not just FNM. He’s played with Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath and Jerry Cantrell as well.
So.... he's bad ass, but no Danny Carey.....
Brendon Kelly He doesn’t need to be Danny Carey to impress. I think he’s a great drummer because he has a smooth, yet heavy style that really fits their songs.
Oh boy am I glad they picked MY generation to be around in...... GENIUS..... I have a BIG smile on my face right now.....
UNBELIEVABLE ❤️
Mike B still rockin the chunky dreads even though grey asf - legend!
My brain still has trouble accepting Mike patton is a real man that walks the earth.
One of my fave moments is near the end when the last notes are fading out and Hudson nods at Mike B. as if to say "Yeah, we freakin' nailed that!"
This is amazing!! One of my favorite bands.
Fucking awesome!
This band just rules at everything they do
The production on this clip is damn good. Probably the most well produced clip of the guys playing live in existence.
The best dad rock band there is
These guys age like fine wine... Gould's Punching bass tone, Bordin's tom hits, and Mike... what more can I say.. other vocalists fade... he just still kills it...
FUCK! This performance is perfect!!
So fucking GOOD!! Gets better with age like a fine wine!1
This band is so damn good! amazing performance & recording - love how vivid, transparent & crisp everythings sounds here.
Gould & Bordin are amazing, the true backbone of this band. They deserve more credit, since most about FNM is all about Patton.
man they are so fucking good!!
GETS LOUDER CHILE ... FANTASTIC PRESENTATION IS FAITH NO MORE UN MANJARRRSH
This has become one of my favorite performances and one of my favorite songs from FNM.
This is pure "Gold"
