I can’t even contemplate the idea of a mother mourning her baby in total silence. I feel like it had to have looked close to what the birth scene ended up looking like.
As someone who enjoyed Birdbox, I think my problem with the movie was the invisible entities and the lack of clarity we get on what exactly they are. Like I'm sure others have actual criticisms for the movie but those were my only real gripes with it, personally. Like it's completely invisible but it can grab and tug on shit. You can look at it but you have to specifically look at it or else it can't hypnotize you to commit suicide or whatever tf? The supernatural aspect of it was fine. But it just didn't click well because then it's opens up all these questions that the movie didn't answer. Like how? Why now? When did it start? What's the endgame?
watching this in theaters was awkward in ways i absolutely was not prepared for lol🦻🏾 it was just a lot of people slowly eating snacks and sipping drinks because literally every sound was SO loud. at least until the action kicked up. but it was also fun and i really enjoyed it. i didn't mind the girl at all. she's a kid who did a careless kid thing which the parents should've anticipated. it's not her fault that it accidentally got her brother killed🤷🏾
