great animation and content Jade.. im doing the 2021 version of this with Rings into Beads now and loving it, definitely an upgrade from Clouds and easier to grasp IMO. plus the new "attenurandomizers" are amazing
A classic pairing, no doubt. I've been using a minor variant on this in the past week; QuBit's Scanned into Clouds. It's also a physical modelling voice going into a granular sampler. Just a bit more alien-sounding.
Which one of the four time / quality settings are you using on Clouds? Which of the four modes are you using on Rings? I've not been able to duplicate your gorgeous results. Cheers!
Hello what an inspiring music. I'm decided, Rings & Clouds are my 2 nexts modules. In this video is there any other modules involved in this track than Rings, Clound & the unknown "sequencer" you're using ? Cheers from France !
Hi Jade - thank you for the video. I saw this and a few others and was convinced that both Rings and Clouds was what I needed to begin my modular journey. I get my first case and few modules including rings and clouds (well clones) and this will be my first real ambient adventure in modular. Trying to keep it minimal (due to expenses) but there is so much out there. I recently watched a video on Instruo's Arbhar and realized that is everything I want and will cost me as much as my first case and modules - too rich for now. I am curious what is the module that is feeding into rings - is it a VCO module or a synth? I will have the NiftyCase Chipz and Cellz to start but they are way to blippy for me and don't seem much like ambient modules but I could be wrong - you can make anything do anything if you are smart enough. Please let me know what was feeding into Rings with the sliders - I like sliders. That is why I got the Monsoon version of Clouds.
To rings I was feeding absolutely nothing, it's a resonator so it makes sounds. If you're referring to the sequence, it was being sequenced by Varigate 4+. I have a few videos about it on my channel, it's my favorite sequencer.
Hi Jade, thanks for your contents :) very nice I am replicating exactly as you do in the video, but it seems my rings and clouds clone are not sounding as good as yours… Do you think it’s because they are copies ? Or maybe my cloud set up is wrong ? Like how did you set the Pan , Feedback and Verb before the video, if you remember ^^ Bye :)
Hey, I have had clones before and they do sound a bit different than the originals, but the settings on Clouds gets wild pretty quick, just gotta keep messing with it and find the sweet spots!
Make a video on how u assembled this Synthesis together and how we can do after buying this coz I am asking this I am Intermediate in music 🌞😊 plz 🙏🏻 make a video on this if it is possible 😊
Very beautiful jam, wish I knew what each module was doing, would like to try something like this on my MicroModular but I would probably have to build each module out of simpler elements.

Stopppp I had just convinced myself I didn’t need it 😂
Whoa, that knob twist at 4:55 ❤❤❤
Yoour aesthetic is great ! Much love from Greece
Absolutely
Every nice thing in music defied arrogance at some point. They are most common for a reason. Nice demonstration, thank you :)

Hi Jade - that is soooo wonderful. I have a Typhoon but not any kind of Ring thing. Must look into that. Thanks.
I just got a Rings from momomodular..
Top notch album worthy stuff right here.

Never gets old!
Beautiful!
me, an ignorant boi: clouds knobs are red and green
jade: PINK AND AQUA.
That was fantastic.
Greaty track Thanks..
What is "feeding"cv into rings? Which module? Is you're setup on modulairgrid?
Thanks! It was batumi, and I need to update the grid and add to description, its on my todo list ':)
Great jam Jade, Thank you 😊
Phenomenal video, you've convinced me to buy another Rings :)
Sounds great!❤
Love your style
Waiting on my uRings to arrive, feels like I’ve about figured out The Kammerl Clouds that was dirt cheap.
not bad, good idea
Awesome video Jade 😊👍👍
Respect! Love your videos. Question, what is the modular in the upper left corner?
Malekko Varigate 4

Thank you :) Yes, Varigate 4+ sequencer, or if you have more room and need a drum sequencer as well, the V8+
ah wait, it was me not seeing your stuff but you were here all the time...
Nice! I'd like to ask, how are you sequencing this? Is it just the VARIGATE 4? thx!
yes
14 minutes in, we had to carry the boat through the mangroves.
Keep doin what u do, it’s beautiful 💜
What patch cables are those!?
so cool!
The real phenomenon is Rings into Clouds into Lofi Junky

that looks like the varigate 4+

You can clearly see the patch cables. I'm playing around with this in VCV Rack (which is free) with a Keystep Pro for input.
Hi jade will you use marbles too for a Future Video ? I think you own one right ?
I don’t anymore, my system is rather small and I love my v4+ too much to mess with other sequencers
Are you using standard clouds FW? Have you tried parasites?
I love the OG so much I haven't tried it, but I should probably convert my monsoon to parasites!
Why doesn’t mine sound like that?! :)

Reminds me of Oriental sounds, bells, and so calming....oops..zzzzzzzzzz...I fell asleep...just kidding but it's quite relaxing...
was I wrong when I sold my Clouds? O_o
what latin american country are you from?
"Rings into Clouds: Aka - How to sound like everyone else making lazy ambient music"
Just found this,
Way cool 👍
