I can't give the opinion due to the fact that I never want to promote the upper premium video cards no matter how good they are, because I intuitively know that the characteristics and installation requirements for this hardware is usually beyond the means of most people simply placing the card into their computer and expecting it to work. Usually the size is too big, the wattage is too much, the PSU needs to be changed, and the price is well above the average computer user is willing to pay. The major reason I don't want to recommend a premium card is the possibility that the buyer will experience buyer's regret.

In my country with the average salary of $500 per month and minimum is $200 per month, 4070 cost $668, and 7800XT $604 .... so for you that live in the US don't critics to much for your GPU price there...compare to the minimum salary there, it would be our 1 year salary for 1 month in USA🙂 (My country is Indonesia) please be grateful US people hahah

Still a damn nice card. I bought one yesterday and am seriously impressed with the performance in 4k. Reason for taking this over a 6900xt (wich would have been cheaper, used) is the longer driver support + AMD "Fine wine" meaning the cards will only get faster overtime

If you can wait based on "Graphically Challenged" site the 8800XT in 3rd-4th quarter will be 40% faster than the 7800XT for $499 and 4th quarter the 8700XT will be 15% faster for $399. If you can wait I would. ;)

I bought one at Xmas. 1080p/rt, 1440p/rt, 4k (no ray tracing). no card not even the 4090 does more - nothing raytraces at 4k. nvidiots can play with Jensen's gimmicks all day long the 4090 doesn't raytrace at 4k so the 7900xt is the cheapest card with the widest set of use cases this generation!

The 6700 XT wasn't a great value when it was released at 480 MSRP (and, like all cards it was actually nearly impossible to even find for anywhere near MSRP for a long time after launch). These cards might not be a great value at first, but they probably will end up being a great value at some point, if not from the beginning.
Just copped me a 6700 xt new on newegg for 300$, I haven't seen a better frame per dollar gpu yet. Had to get a new monitor because it was bottlenecking by the low refresh rate, what a nice problem to have :D
If 6800xt is 85 point 7900xt 105 points, it seems like there is not my room for it… 7800xt will have to be around 95 point, performance level of 3090 give or take

I love the card, I have no problem 4k 60 fps max on anything I play. I wish I got it for like 650/700 but I can sleep well knowing I got it for 720.
