Wheels bearing can be done with the simple application of a raw bolt. Through the centre of bearing.expanding the raw bolt and knock out bearing from other side.

Getting there mate. That gunk is decent. Guess what i used it on.. A ...Honda Blackbird!... Got it last week, needs some work, but only had 19k on it. 99Efi version too. Im doing all the basics, service etc. Will do swingarm off and new shock in the off season. Just changed the cam chain tensioner on it. 😂

Either buy some assembly lube or mix oil/grease 50/50. Those little dribbles you put on are about as much use as an ashtray on a motorcycle, first start you will get a lot of wear.

For bearings (like the cam bearings), it can be worth using assembly lube. A very thick sticky oil to protect the bearings until oil pressure builds up.

Don’t understand some of the negative comments. I’m sure you said this is your first resto. And if so, you’re doing a damn good job. I’ve got a 250N at the back of my garage that hasn’t run for 25 years. It’s always been my intention to restore it. Hence my interest in your vids.
Really looking forward to watching the remainder of the resto. Keep up the good work. 👍🏍👍

What a beautiful job you are doing on this bike. I owned a couple of these as my first bikes when they came out so still have an affection for them. Not sure what your plans are for the paintwork but if you are repainting I would urge you to take time to accurately place any new decals on the tank. Unfortunately I have seen too many beautiful restorations tarnished by the incorrect placement of the decals and it must be easy to get wrong. If you take care on measuring the position on your originals it will help. Someone on the 'Ultimate Superdream forum' has done this also to assist others. Its really looking good!

But ... Ryan. What about all the cack that's fallen into the bottom end of the engine, and in the valve guides and springs and all the rest. I mean, it's very unlikely to stop it starting, but crap in the bottom end is crank and bottom end bearing death in short order, and crap in the valve guides means top end death, again in short order. If you're wanting to do a restoration, do a restoration, please. I know, it's only a superdream, but you've probably doomed that engine to the scrap by buttoning it up as it is; for the next owner, replacing the parts that are absolutely going to die is not going to be worth the cost of doing it.
The paint work on the cases looks good, but I have questions as to whether it will last - enamel paint is really bad with petrol, and you need a specific primer for aluminium. Probably wanted specific engine / caliper high temperature paint. But hey, looks pretty smart. I like it.

Can't believe you have not broken the piston rings smacking the barrels on like that.
The rings have to be fed in very carefully as your lowering the barrels onto the pistons with your fingers, if you have not got the proper piston ring compressor tool.
