Beirut x Berlin - inside the artist exchange across two cities

Your Mom's Agency sends us this short documentation of the collaboration they hosted across Beirut and Berlin. It was a chance not to just hop in and play, but really to work closely together, experience new environments for musical interaction, and give people in both cities a chance to learn from one another. Beirut x Berlin is an artist exchange created in collaboration with residency artists Anthony Sahyoun, Elyse Tabet, Peter Kirn, and Zazuka, and with partners Elektron, Goethe-Institut Libanon, mim Beirut, Moog, Orchestral Tools, and Riwaq Beirut.
The project was curated by Your Mom's Agency with thanks to all partners as well as to Almevan, Krach der Roboter, Beirut Synthesizer Center, BIMM Berlin, Frequent Defect, Julia Lorenz, Loopcloud, Prïss, Tunefork Studios, and all show and workshop participants in both cities.

i love this! i hope there are more of these to come, the artist exchange programs are very important these days. in the end its an exchange human to human for a more peaceful world. great to see likeminded all over the world and find inspiration rather that separation.
