That Lotus is awesome, it's actually an old Welly casting. Great finds, wish we had markets like that in the Montreal area... Love that Folgers aeroback Monte Carlo! Same for that t-top HW Monte, hope to eventually add a variation of it to my collection. Love that specific variation of the Cadillac for it's stock looks as well. Funny that K cars were so prolific, my dad had 3 Tempos while these were in production, he was a firm believer in Ford's styling direction from those, the Taurus & the Probe. OMG those MBX Collectors, what a deal! Best MBX series ever with the World Class cars. And honorable mention to the 405 Peugeot, had that one with red plastic instead of gray, great cast with proper scale. Lovely variety in that haul, thanks for sharing it with us, have a great week Chuck!
The action car at the end was a actual dirt late model and it was driven a Florida racer by the name of Rodney Combs. Eventually he moved to WV. #5 was his trademark number for alot of years. His nickname was Superman. Because he was always a threat to win whenever he showed up to a track in the 80s. Tried going big in Nascar but never panned out. Eventually helped run a driving school with Richard Petty
That's really cool! I didn't know it was based on a real car. Thanks for the info! I'm gonna save it instead of customizing it now. (ok, I may still weather it.)
5:24 There are 2 main 'OutDoor FleaMarkets' that I go to regularly, The 'LittleRedSchoolHouse' and the 'MegaMall' and they both start out strong, then fade as the season progresses. Sometimes I'll venture 50+ miles to visit others like the 'Dixieland FleaMarket', 'Sarge&Reds' or 'ThereAndBackAgain Toys' in Detroit,, or the 'Lansing Card and Toy Show' in Mason, But those are 'on occasion' trips. Depends on the FleaMarket as well, the Weather, Holidays/Events happenings on how busy they are. 5:32 I want that HESS PORSCHE 962. I don't have one in My collection yet. 5:42 Some 'MIC' PORSCHEs that I don't have... 5:46 the White 935 Slant-Nose. 7:36 Can always 3D print a better interior and base, and vacuform a new glass. 21:36 Too bad those Dodge/Chrysler Vans transmissions don't hold out. 22:26 'Hot Ones' Series. 37:30 The PORSCHE 911 GT3.
Yeah, that must've been a disappointment. In hindsight it's amazing how bad they are and are still licensed but I'd have been mad then. Thanks for the comment!
Action made racing diecast for quite a while (mid 90s to 2000s). I'm not an expert on them but I know they did NASCAR, NHRA, and some dirt track stuff. I used to have a few of their 1/24 and 1/64 cars...much better than most anything available at the time. Those Late Models come in 1/24 scale also and should be actual liveries

Some of my best finds have been from flea markets. In my area there are 2 “chain” flea markets with multiple locations for each, Peddlers Mall and Vendors Village. Have a great week. 🫵👍
