It looks like the difficulty with Bucky having Ward is that he can come down very early and the efficient ways to take him down have much higher ink costs. All the while, he sits there taking away cards from your hand. Very fearsome!
I didn't know that affects that target all opposing cards/characters would still affect characters with ward. In my mind, you are still selecting the card with ward, even if you are selecting others too
It’s a common misconception. But take a card like Be Prepared which says “banish all characters”. Because of this, there is no choosing involved, you’re banishing everything. All Ward does is prevent the choosing part. It’s not a blanket protection against effects.
Fang giving your characters Ward would prevent them from being chosen by opponents for actions such as Dragon Fire. However they’d still be vulnerable to anything that doesn’t “choose”, such as Be Prepared.

Was wondering if anyone had a list of cards that can out bucky that are inkable?
Outside of Tinker Bell, Giant Fairy, I’m not sure there are any. Because they’re usually powerful effects, they’re limited by being uninkable
So even if all my characters were moved into the Fang Location giving everyone ward and evasive they can still be targeted?
