  • 15 minutes of EG4 6000XP AIO inverter load testings, a few overloads, fan speed adjustments, setting/menu overview, idle consumption, 6,000 watts of solar and rambling about 18Kpv with TIGO.
Note: I was using the EG4 ChargeVerter (CV) as a load during testing. Some of the fan noise was coming from the CV Affiliate links below

Wow you have both 18k and 6000xp. My wish list. 😊

  • @AdamDeLay07

    Nice. Thanks for sharing.

I like it, but wish it had a little more power output. I can't trust that someone in the house won't try to use the toaster oven and the vacuum at the same time.

  • @StefanHallEffect

Have you had any major issues with light flicker or other issues when motors (vacuum or well pump or non inverter type air conditioner etc) start up with the 6k or 18k?

  • @cs-xd9gy

Man, that screen is a jumbled mess. You are strictly on PV and battery?

  • @mdunbar04

Can the 18K and the 6000xp be put in parallel together?

  • @solarcharging9743

Without an O-scope connected, you have no idea if this inverter is producing a damaging waveform during these overload tests.

  • @Bripromo

Hi,what batteries are you using, I cannot get eg4-LL with the built-in screen to connect to my 6000xp. I double-checked settings #3 lithium 0 Eg4. I think I got to write a firmware version to the Batteries.?

  • @GavinStoneDIY

Nice. You using the chargeveter as a resistive load? I like that idea.

  • @mellyons4052

Do mind giving me some advice.

  • @KoiAquaponics

What's the max dc charging voltage the unit allows you to set? I have 17s Lifepo4 and not sure if it will allow high enough voltage to charge it.

I just installed 6 LifePower4-48V batts and an EG4 6000XP. Can someone PLEASE HELP ME? The super bright green LED blinks all the time and will not stop blinking and produce AC power. HOW DO YOU TURN ON THE INVERTER?!?! It has the unhappy "warning" face and I have absolutely NO IDEA why and what to do about it. It is very vague. Is there some way to find out what the error is? Multimter shows the battery voltage is just fine at +52.6V at the terminals in the 6000XP.
