Then look at videos like Cool Patrol or Mansion Party. Even in 6969 and Road Trip he's super goofy. It's like he's just a huge dork who's really good at convincing people he's cool.
Hell, Dragon Slayer and First Date are entirely about him trying and failing to convince a girl to go out with him.

Simon's animations complement their songs so damn well.
I love how the girl isn't even having a bad time. She's just rolling with the punches and letting it all play out in a very kind and forgiving manner. It's a very nice change of pace from most of the music videos where Dan manages to dork his way OUT of a girl's pants.
Edit: Yo, I fucked up. There's a brief moment at 3:37 where you can see that the girl and Ninja Brian have their arms around each other before Danny interrupts them. Danny did, in fact, dork it up again. I should have expected nothing less from Soocharu.
