I do have a few more Ladybird stories to upload as and when I can but I have to order them in as and when I find them test them to make sure their in working order then get help from a friend of mine to put them on USB stick and then transfer the complete story with matching book and tape to UA-cam. I never understood with the rats. They had the men and dogs outnumbered, yet instead of fighting back they ran for their hides. The same happened on two animated films I saw, Heidi's Song and a Burbank version of Black Beauty, both have a scene with rats being all tough and aggressive when they have the enemy outnumbered, only to become a bunch of cowardly fraidy rats when an army arrives. It doesn't make any sense the rats don't fight back.
I think the implication is that the rats are Dracula or at least being controlled by him. And Dracula doesn’t want to risk him or his army getting beaten so he figured I’d be better for them to leave.
