    • @allenoccena9528
      @allenoccena9528 3 роки тому +15

      Definitely. Lebron led teams always have a hard time create shots for themselves without Lebron on the floor. The issue with that is you have to play Lebron for more than full quarters which is not ideal. That's where CP3 comes in. When you pair up the king with the point god, it's a ring imo. Both live in the playoffs and in the clutch. Good luck defending/attacking 2 of the greatest minds in basketball.

  • @jesusiii5360
    @jesusiii5360 3 роки тому +1

    CP3 used to lead all PGs in DRTG even though he's shorter. He knows his defense and he's gonna be great at it regardless of the team you throw him into. His stats won't show how good he is on that side of the court but that's only because he prefers good fundamental defense instead of gambling a reach and going for the flashy steal (like Rubio).
    Offensively, there was never any doubt that his game would hold up as he got older. He's always been known to rely on his crafty play to score points and his passing will always be elite.
    Him reading plays and communicating during the game is normal. About the most normal thing you'd expect of a player at his age and with his experience. Every good vet does this. I have no idea why you would think that this is the best evidence of his bball iq when he's been the Point God for years now.

    I just want to ask about the final play. Did CP3 took a risk that left Middleton open in the corner to double Giannis? Or is it impossible for Giannis to put out a pass that's why he doubled him? If anyone could give me an insight of this. Thanks

    • @DanielLi7
      @DanielLi7  3 роки тому +1

      Hey thanks for watching. The reason cp3 doubles giannis is because there’s only 2.8 seconds left. If u slow it down a bit, Giannis immediately puts his head down trying to make a play. You can see Booker first standing around the paint but close enough where he can still close out to either divicenzo or Middleton from a Giannis pass. Since there’s only 2 seconds left, making 2 passes (Giannis to Donte and then to Middleton or vice versa) would take too much time. Thus, CP3 can double because there probably can only be one pass made (Giannis to Middleton or Divicenzo) but Booker is ready to close out to either. Hopefully that makes sense

    • @anthonycelestin3559
      @anthonycelestin3559 3 роки тому +2

      @@DanielLi7 Draymond & CP3 both got limitations to a degree as on ball defenders, I feel Draymond has more limitations on the ball cause of his lack of foot speed to a degree & him guarding bigger guys. Even though CP3 is small, I feel CP3 can guard his position better & even guarded really big guys like KAT & KD back in 2018 really well, not sure if he can still do that but he’s capable & he’s a pitbull that won’t let you just overpower him just cause he’s smaller.
      As team defenders I feel Draymond can point out mismatches when the play is starting & do things quickly in a way where hes communicating to guys & stuff on the fly. CP3 find things before the play happens & understands different mismatches before the game & studies the gameplan more beforehand. I maybe wrong, does my analysis seem right?

      @@nachainananderson8746 Because they are under 18 firstly, secondly its a completely different style of basketball here in Europe and in the NBA, NBA is all about the individual and is mostly an 1 or 2 man show on each team.
      In Europe basketball is much more about whole team and they play actions almost every single attack and communicate on defense.

    Calling that last shot by Giannis "bad" seems a little harsh. It was definitely a tough shot, but you can do a lot worse for a last-second shot. The "bad" part was not hitting Middleton in the corner, or even looking up to see him. You gotta make the defense pay for leaving the 2nd best player on your team completely alone, man.
