@@ITZTHEBEATLES4221 I was talking to the dude who started this thread... though yeah lol I know, most of the artists around the world, including me and you are doing that. A way of thinking.
Great bass player in a great band. This music is opposite of what I play (trad folk on acoustic guitar, fiddle, etc.) But, my oh my, this is wonderful.
It is not "babysitting". It is just the general vibe of a show, clapping along and chanting because of the energy of the moment. Let people enjoy themselves.
@@bernardocoimbra2777 Jaco is Jaco, Joe is Joe. There will never be another "Jaco", simply because 1. each player has his/her own individuality and 2. nobody will ever evolve the instrument like Jaco did. Jaco is much like Hendrix; completely redefined the bass guitar and broke many boundaries. He was revolutionary. Joe is a great player and is one of my many inspirations, but Jaco was just on another level. Joe said he's fine with being a sideman and that he's not much of a composer, as opposed to Jaco, who could take the lead and compose beautifully. It's unfair to compare both (or any musician, really), as they are both individuals with individual skills.
People don’t appreciate Cory Wong enough..... that being said joe is the fucking man

Plays a bass solo and people listen.

*treble and yeah I mean he and the rest of them play the same liccs all the time.
