A Swift BaseCamp 3 would suit us perfectly apart from the gas. An all electric version with a Lithium Ion battery and more solar panels, to supply electric heating, hob and microwave would be even better if we could tow it with our Fiat 500L. It could also serve as an office :-)

Why are the slats sticking out from under the bed in day mode in the 3? doesnt lokk comfortable at all! looks like a half ass job! too bad you cant use the front as storage anymore. They should have designed it so you can fold the bed up like in the others. Thats the big deal about the Basecamp!
I wanna buy a base 4 and I was wondering if I can upgrade the Watts on the solar panel to a higher voltage and if that 100watts is enough to be off grid without plugging into a caravan site or upgrading your land?
You could potentially have another panel fitted, however the one panel should be enough to keep you going off grid with that size of caravan for short trips. I'd have a chat with your local dealer for more info! Thanks for watching 👍

The one for me would be the original size Basecamp 2. That’s the one that started it all off and would be perfect.
