As a former alcoholic, blade has truly helped me stay away from the drank. When I first put it down and those urges would arise I’d often watch a compilation of him.
I wasnt an addict but i credit my mom and grandparents alcoholism for making me very controlled with my drinking, and i credit a former coworker and family acquaintance (wouldn't call him a family friend but my dad knew him pretty well) who was a horrible drug addict for keeping me away from most drugs. I think one of the benefits of groups like AA and NA is just hearing how bad addicts/alcoholics can be without realizing it which helps keep people from fooling themselves into thinking "my heads cleared up now, i can use and stay in control this time".

I am 19 and drink pretty heavily but I find I have an opposite problem. A lot of people's motivation is because of the way they act but I don't get aggressive really or anything in fact I barely change minus being less socially anxious. The 2 times I got blackout I apparently was just really quiet and kept acting like usual. It's weird, but I have been slowing tapering off just because of the health impacts but I sometimes wish I was an asshole drunk so maybe I would have more motivation.
💯 at my lowest point of drinking I would blackout 3-4 times a week! I still drink but rarely lol and ironically yager is my favorite drink but I drink beer in-between shots lol instead of drinking more Jager lol a pint and part of a six pack is my max lol always at home because I can't stand bars or drinking and driving

For more recent blade news, his mother got sick of him lying about his ex gf lying about not taking prescription drugs from her, like fentanyl patches, because his mom is old and in pain so she actually needs that stuff. She also needs a legal caretaker but blade refuses to get sober and she doesn’t want him around when he’s like that which is completely understandable. So she disowned and refuses to speak to him. He also got black out drunk at a hotel, got kicked out but wouldn’t leave because again was blacked out, and cops came with a riot shield and arrested him.
Man, the one time when cops wouldve been crlebrated for using unwarranted lethal force, lol
As someone with horrific chronic pain that, untreated, can leave me vulnerable to blacking out due to how intense the pain gets (not to mention the toll it takes on the mental state - tried to end it all six times due to the pain NEVER stoping), I get REALLY pissed with people who steal pain medication from those who genuinely need it.
I understand addiction is a disease, but my word, it’s a disease that makes you a self-entitled, selfish person willing to leave someone to suffer so you can feel pleasure! I could NEVER! Even before I’d been prescribed my pain meds, I was faster to resort to suicide than stealing medication from my parents!
Didn’t stop my sister, though. Her and her bf steal pain medicine from both my parents (before my dad passed) and I. I’m sure they genuinely feel pain sometimes, but I just can’t believe that they’d be willing to let the people whose labor they live off of struggle with pain.
Also, thank you for not demonizing blade’s mother for needing Fentanyl patches. It is CRAZY how quickly people will jump to disabled people/chronic pain patients being “junkies”, when we just want to LIVE without every second being spent in pain. I WANT to work, not live off of Social Security Disability! I WANT to be able to be the things I enjoy without needing to stop halfway through due to agony. I WANT to enjoy life! But I CAN’T with the pain I’d be left in untreated!
There’s a very real crisis in healthcare right now with pain medicine being UNDER prescribed, or having folks who genuinely need be forced to undergo a taper. Maine’s attempting to go COMPLETELY opioid free - not for cancer, not for post-op, not for hospice.
I can also personally attest that the medical industry is completely corrupts and directly contributes to the prison for profit system. In my state, Cannabis is FULLY criminalized, it is a felony and not even medically allowed.
Doctors told me to smuggle it in, instead of prescribing me something legal.
So long as they keep their licenses and it’s not THEIR asses being carted to prison, eh?

I wish the medical field would stop just assuming every single living person is a junkie looking for a fix. Especially after the evidence showing the impacts of chronic pain on the brain and mental state of the victim.
It seems like torture to under prescribe someone with chronic pain, especially when it's so bad it brings forward suicidal thoughts. It should be the opposite especially when we have so few ways of actually getting rid of chronic pains. I think it's better to maybe get them high or really anything but experiencing more pain. We are humans and the world should be centered around our experiences, not statistics.

My father was drinking heavily and you know mistakes, violence and etc. My mom divorced him when I was like 4 probably. It obviously was a big lesson for me too to not be like that. Thing is I didn't blame alcohol and gladly consumed it myself. You are who you are and if you do some horrible shit drunk then you can do it sober too. Alcohol just removes some restraints. Which is why it's funny to me when people blame alcohol when they decide to fuck someone or something. We already have a video here showing two people fcking each other even if the woman was a wife and her husband was upstairs. Our senses get dull but at the same time the mask falls off too.
In my case I can be heavily drunk and still have a intelligent conversation with someone. I will clean after myself and just go to sleep. You won't find me passed out in some weird place. I have rules that I follow when I drink. Like not drinking before work or during it. You know just normal common sense stuff. I don't consume light alcohol drinks. When I feel like it's enough I just stop. I don't drink in public places too.
Being drunk is nice but what I like more are the flavors and the process of good drinking. I mostly drink at home while gaming, watching stuff, listening to music and etc. I buy good stuff. I drank many times with my uncle which helped us bond more and I was his inner voice that said maybe it's enough. I would say I am a great homecook and I used my love for alcohol to turn it into another hobby. Now I buy honey from local farms and make mead. Something that honestly is no one doing in my area and store stuff is just mead mixed with more alcohol. You already can use honey in many recipes. It's a perfect substitute for sugar that adds nice flavor. Good mead after one year of aging tastes insanely good.
Enjoy stuff while you are alive. It's up to you how alcohol will affect you. Blindly drinking often any alcoholic garbage will turn you into a addicted stinking drunkard. Follow rules, buy good stuff, know your limits and etc. Drinking is not great because you are drunk. Drinking is great when you enjoy good drinks, you enjoy your time drinking and for example sit one night searching for nostalgic things like music, movies, games and etc.
I agree alcoholism is problematic today. Instead of enjoying it couple times in a month they turn it into a addiction. We kind of live in a era of addiction. People are addicted to attention on social media, to food, porn, alcohol, drugs and etc. When I was in university I smoked with my friends when we were out drinking but otherwise I was clean. Even when I finished studying I switched to cigars. I buy 1-2 cigars a year on special days. I don't allow this pleasures to become a normal habit. They should be rare pleasures.

Prior Army serviceman here, Jäger was my drink. That shit is so easy to take, I would drink every day and at one time a whole bottle to myself. I chugged it down within 30 mins and that landed me in jail on base I would then blow the highest record on their breathalyzer. This drink is beyond a ninja, it sneaks up on you (as most hard liquor does) so fast and you get in this black out phase. Apparently I insulted so many people I genuinely respected. Seeing how he is in all these clips is so relatable but you can't get out of that shit until you actually want to.
Congrats on getting over your addiction man. As a child of two unrepentant alcoholics it is always heart warming to hear people who beat the demons!

All of those are huge wake up calls that don't even require any empathy. He just doesn't give a shit anymore.
It's horrible, but the way it is presented in this is wrong.
Blade was not on the stream the night Willy went to hospital, he wasn't involved in any of it.
Willy didn't leave the hospice to come to Blades house, he died about a month after that night.
So in reality, while I think it's fair to say Blade has contributed to an environment of junkies dying from substance abuse - he wasn't responsible for what happened to Willy. This was poorly researched.

I typically drink 4 beers a day, strong ones. Been doing it for a while. I don't go around yelling slurs and sa'ing people. Gonna cut it out soon though. Hope you can too or at least do it reasonably :)

This popped up in my recommended. Without watching; all I will say is that I had a channel back in the day that was big on Machinima and I used to party with these guys at all the events (Pax East, Seattle, E3, etc) and it was always fucking weird. They would all talk about how they fucked shit up on purpose to get comments, push the lines and often stepped over them with no consequence, etc. which we all think is just normal these days, back then it wasn't. After I got out of my "perpetuity contract" with Machinima, my new talent agency promised some collaborations with a ton of them to grow a new channel (this one, actually) and I never took them up on it, I left the scene completely. It was all shady, immoral, and filled with backstabbers. It's actually crazy to see some of the people I came up with making millions now who built their brand on shaky ground. In my opinion it was an integral part of the start of the social media downfall that rewards scummy people and egotistic assholes. But that's my opinion of course, have a great day!

It's just baffles me how people will continue to drink themselves to death and destroy their mind. Maybe it's because I'm in the medical field now, but I wish everyone could see all he alcohol induced dementia patients I work with, some being as young as in there 30, all living a toddlers life till they die. Definitely stopped my drinking to social time and that's only 1 to 2 drinks max.

In finland we have a lot of rain but at the same time its hot, for a northern standards, we think that 10c is hot a lot of the time :) but u should come and visit finland sometime, we have amazing food, hotels and helsinki, tampere, oulu, rovaniemi, ivalo, are very nice places to visit while here :)
