Like 1.5 yrs ho gaya meri eyes me extreme dryness aai hai jo ab tk theek nahi hui. if you are the one who use computer so much then take atleast 2-3 month off from all screens. Ye bolte hai ki 4-5 din me normal, 1 week baad I started thoda thoda computer lekin vo bhut nuksaan dayak hai.
SUper vision aata h lekin dryness itni aati hai ki, night me bhi uth kr drops dalni padti hai aur dhoop me to eyes khulti bhi nhi. Doctor aur COntoura dono ache hai lekin aapko computer, mobile jaldi use nhi krna chahiye

I had Contura vision treatment in April 2019 in Bathinda (Punjab) can confirm it's the best surgery available. I live in Sydney Australia and came to visit my family in 2019 an decided to get Lasik done for my eyes. I am 37 years old now and was wearing glasses from the age of 13 years. I had both cylindrical and spherical power glasses (-2.5 +1.75) in both my eyes. It's just amazing that I don't have to wear glasses and I have best vision possible for my eyes. Good work doctors!

To all layman who do not understand Lasik. Its a technique where laser is used to fire and burn the corneal tissue for reshaping it. Now there are different companys who have different programmes which tells the laser how to fire and burn the tissue in specific manner. So contura is nothing different. It is also LASIK only. Its just a name of software being marketed by its manufacturer and falsly proprgated that its something different from Lasik. The standard process of Lasik and Contura is absolutly same. No difference at all.
Just a slight difference, it cures corneal irregularities by marking 22000 corneal points by using topolyser.....better vision than conventional lasik, some centres like pgi use advanced surface ablations by supra lasik....longer recovery time is there but better results....for keratoconus or thinner corneas,its still not a good choice, for thinner corneas iol or lense implants between iris and cornea is a good option......
@@DrPrabhpreetSingh corneal irregularity is pressnt in only a handful of people and those are either keratoconic patients( cant go for lasik even with contura) patients who had earlier undergone lasik and got irregular astigmatism post lasin due to decenterd ablation or due to some other factors. Eventually contura is a topo-guided treatment which is actually better/benefit only for such kind of cases. For majority of people routine aspheric treatment also works well. Contura was earlier exiisting by the name of T-Cat treatment. Its nothing new but just a name change and super marketing gimmick by company. Its rebranding and packaging an old treatment profile. Topolyser had existed long before contura Term was even introduced. And at that time the same treatment was called T-CAT( Topiguided customised ablation treatment) and it was not used to treat routine patient/virgin corneas.
Infact a true lasik less treatment is SMILE. For me contura is jst another LASIK. The other companies also offer their software/ treatment profiles under different brand names. Their is HD Lasik which is based on high profile wavefront technology. This is the only treatment in world approved for treatment of NASA scientists and Us navy and pilots.
@O T CUBE corneal irregularities can still be cured even after previous surgery, but d fact is private hospitals are just looting,they do not hv topolysers, better visit pgi chandigarh or aims delhi or if i u hv access to pune armed forces medical hospital

It generally takes 3 days (visits)
1st day - pre-op screening tests (2-3 hours) in which we do 6-7 different tests to assess your suitability for the surgery.
2nd day - Surgery (20-minutes in surgery, approx. 2 hours overall, in clearing discharge formalities and paperwork)
3rd day - Follow Up Check-Up (Approx. 1 hour)
*Note : It may take a extra day after screening tests to get a surgery date*

@@CrickAndsport patient will feel burning sensation and pain for 4-5 hours after the surgery. He will feel good from next day and vision will become very good. Still, side effects depends upon diagnosis and reports before surgery. Go with contura Lasik bladeless surgery.
