@@user-he5ic6nq8o youre looking at the wrong number lol. Thats how much he gets in a month from all of his patrons. He has tiers as low as 5 bucks a month and the max is 21
If you want cheaper, and better dumbbells than the short handles, I got rid of my short loadable dumbbell handles for Kensui Adjustabells, they are like $40 for a pair (70lb max weight per handle) or $100 for the upgraded ones (150lb max weight per handle), and they make movements way easier that require clearance. It is basically like having Ironmasters that use olympic plates and are way slower to change weights with, but they can be the same size as fixed dumbbells which makes them way more usable IMO. I don't have a rack, so my barbell is for deadlifts and bent over rows mostly, so I really use my dumbbells more than anything, and despite the low cost these things are an absolute lifesaver.
I also built most of my home gym off Amazon. Try hitting the bottom of the cable assembly (the center rod) with some WD-40/other lubricant. It makes my budget power rack's cables noticeably smoother immediately especially with lower weight for smaller muscle exercises.
I thought of doing that, but haven't done it yet because I don't want the cable rod to become oily as I occasionally grab it or bump into it due to the lack of space haha
Amazon has some underrated gym equipment, but yeah you should get a weight belt soon too as you go up in weight. I got my Gym Reaper belt on there along with a dumbbell loading strap since I don't have any plates.
@@Livakivi Uh i bought such a cheap one once. After a couple of moths the strap slowly broke where the chain was attached and every time i did weighted pulling i had that nice extra adrenaline from the fear of the breaking strap and destoying my toes 🥲
damn i really want to go work out but ive got 3 seperate joint injuries due to intelligence so i basically gotta wait out the entire summer. if i find the space im for sure doing a home gym when i heal cause 60 eur/month to have to bike uphill for half an hour to get home after is a lot.
5:41 do not squat on these, you might aswell squat in running shoes. id literally make small holes for your foot placement on squats and fill them in with plywood if you needed to.
With olympic weightlifting shoes, I don't find it that problematic to squat on them. It's still not perfect and I wouldn't host competitions on them, but just for getting the working sets done I'd say its enough for the time being.
I think the more important question is: Do all Japanese people know karate? PS, That DIY Home Made Cardboard Weight Belt is classic and I will never forget you for that. I see from your video that you always wear black, are you a Ninja?
The sound from those plates is *literally* eardrum shattering, I've never experienced anything like it with dozens of different plates in gyms. The abrasion sound gets so loud (100db+) when you move them fast that it causes physical pain to ears of people near it, and its not a pleasant or satisfying sound in any way, unlike loading metal plates.
Home gym:
Home gym, Japan:
Real
What's more insane is the fact you have the space to built a home gym in the first place.
i mean i wouldnt be surprised this dude charges a fortune to join his patreon
300$ a month for a sub is wild

I clicked on your channel just to rewatch some of your old videos and saw that you uploaded a video 30 seconds ago. What a lucky day haha.
every gym upload of yours makes me want to get a home gym

For the price they seem like they could be pretty good, esp if its faster to change the weights.
2:13 this gotta be the funnies shit ive seen today
your workouts are insane man, keep it up the good work
Glad to hear these worked out!
The best cheap option for rubber flooring in Canada is rubber Horse Stall mats. You can get a 1.2m x 2m x 2cm mat for like $60 CAD
2 livakivi videos in the same week💪💪
babe wake up new Livakivi video dropped!
Thank you for uploading this in the middle of my gym session🔥🔥🔥
Lol crazy im in the gym rn too 💪

Awesome video, going to be setting up my own home gym soon so this gave me some good ideas.
Buff Livakivi coming soon 🔥
Always appreciate an upload, thanks! How are you liking Japan?
Your videos are underrated bro
you can do getto pulldowns, they are pretty dope i saw em in and Alex's Leonidas vid
Gyms in japan - at least in Tokyo - are pretty awful, so a home gym/home workout setup is essential!
new vid yay
doing weighted chin-ups and weighted decline sit-ups keepin you big as hell
Yayyyy, new vid.
Cool carton dress sir but 15€ more for a weight belt would be an option too 😝
The most sold one here in amazon is actually 7 eur lmao

спасибо
Will you be shipping any of this equipment home once you're done in japan or will you just sell it?
4:04 have you tried to oiling the insides of the bumper plates? That could help with the sound they make
You inspired me to get my own home equipment in Japan as well!
What do you plan on doing with the equipment after moving again?
Hopefully leaving them there
peak vid love them all :3
Kena, millal sa Eestisse tagasi tuled?
Buy some straps for squats
lucky me woke up 20 minutes after upload ❤
I wouldn't trust that rack at all tbh. I've had one like that, super rickety. Those loadable dumbbells look swag.
+1, I've just seen this exact model in a store. There is no way that the safety bars will catch a failed squat

1:37 envy - is the feeling I experienced, when saw your forearms.
do you still own the old shop in estonia?
yeah ill be back to it after the Japan arc
Hell yeah dude
This is beatiful gym
casually flexing the 50kg pullups like we'd just let it slide XD
I would love to built mine when I buy my own house
Gyms in Japan are a scam. They charge you for a time slot or you pay an insane amount to use it at any hour of the day.
Bro is strong af
no horse stall mats in Japan?
Do you plan on living in Japan for an extended period of time?
50kg pull up is insane
かっこいい
Are you working in Japan? Or focusing on content full time?
Livakivi, Stevijs and オージマン, showing that you can get gainz while getting language gainz
i never clicked so fast

Heard that public gym in japan is awful so its better to have home gym

Can you make a video about learning Japanese with video games?
Like your videos by the way @livakivi
hi Livakivi, what do you think about olympic weightlifting? I remember seeing Clarence Kennedy clips in your videos before
I haven't really done it myself, but maybe one day would like to practice it a bit
Awesome. I bet you are a buff Shiba Inu irl
I also recently started building a home gym worthwhile experience 😂
Where in Japan did you btw move to? Seems kinda 田舎っぽい👀
Are you planing on making a beginner's guide?
To getting started with lifting? Been thinking of it for a while.

3:41 face reveal? :O
Are you going to sell the equipment after you leave Japan?
Hopefully won't have to
20 minutes for a piece of equipment? odd rule ngl

Do you have any videos that you talk about what do you do for a living or personal matters? Im confused about your life :P
I noticed that your Estonian accent seems thicker in your older videos. Have you been training to sound more native or is this a subconscious change?
It's just the result of narrating these videos and trying to get my sentences out more smoothly
Bruam physique when?
Hi liva

"it doesnt have enough holes" lol

can i ask how old are you? i was always curious but never really asked haha
Am I trippin or is this the first time I’ve seen your face ⁉️
