I get the feeling that poor Tracks was designed at 3PM on a Friday.. which is a great shame. I do own him and he looks good on the shelf but that's about the extent of his powers.
Once you spend some time tightening up the hips, the thighs, the knees, the leg panel hinges, and the ankles, he’s actually pretty good! Shame the amount of work you need to put to get there, though.
He's not bad. He's decent, if you push the pins in a little more (which is what I did) or get the running change with the better tolerances. Road Rage is baller too.
@@Dillontheautobot Apparently the Wave 4 release of Tracks (packed in the wave with Shadow Panther and Waspinator) has the pins in the legs pushed in all the way - at least that's what I heard on TFW2005.
I recently got this guy recently, and I have to say it embodies EVERYTHING I hate about modern design philosophy. Overcomplicate parts of the transformation that SHOULD be simple to maintain a "Perfect" toon accurate appearance resulting in HORRID QC Problems and tolerance issues mixed in with bad materials and neglect aspects of the robot and vehicle mode that are important to the character. It isn't the worst transformer I have ever gotten, but it enrages me because of all of the stupid decisions in the legs. It's like they designed the top of the figure and then just said "Do some shit to form legs" on the bottom half.
I bought a real dinged up box with tracks inside very recently and contrasting the condition of the box I seem to have lucked out with all the tolerances just right.
Was that "looking good doesn't mean it feels good" a Billy Crystal Fernando's Hideaway "You Look Mavelous" reference? "It is better to look good, than to feel good! and you look MARVELOUS!"
i think i got lucky. My Tracks has now issues whatsoever. The sides connect good in car mode. The legs are just fine, and i pose him as i want. Although its always a nightmare to remember how the hell to put the legs into that car mode. And i have him for.... 5 months now. It kind grows on me every time i pick him to get myself busy.
Let's not forget that the head has very limited articulation due to the transformation on that long bar behind it. It's a shame... I really wanted to like this figure but while my copy does have the legs attached nicely but has those loose hips..he is alright.... But yeah... It's not really worth it unless it's lucky to have a Tracks without that leg problem.
His robot mode and alt mode are pretty damn fun imo my copy doesn't really seem to have much of a tabbing issue for the legs so its not as annoying for me. Legs are still loose as heck, and I had to shave off the tabs that connect the canopy to the front part of the car just so it fit properly. The transformation honestly is one of my least favourites with all the flexing and clashing parts. Legs feel a little overcomplicated for what it should really be but its whatever he doesn't feel horrid but he's FAR from good. Don't know why I'm enjoying him more than Waspinator tbh
I'm happy I found him but I agree he's not a fantastic figure. I hope they don't use that mold more than him and Road Rage. Great review, always fun to watch.
If his legs were better designed he would've be an great figure. As it stands, Tracks as figure is okay but the design flaw in the legs and clear plastic roof really knocks it a few pegs.
I tried that leg fix noooo way then I had to shave clips down to get him in to robot mode with out breaking the stupid car still glad to have him cars 10 flight mode 10 bot 9 for me will he last hell no
It’s a terrible marionette for my copy. It is my least favorite Kingdom figure. I even hate how the Car-vette separates at the front. I’ll try the pin smash fix thing but this figure will just be fodder for defeated bots in pictures with other bots.
In my opinion, he’s the epitome of an “alright” figure. He has some good points, but those legs absolutely murder his chances at making the top spot
This figure has good knee articulation, which is what I like.

Whats the running change with the better tolerances

I got mine from that wave and the pins suck I mean his legs hold up buy the sides don't plug in
@@Dillontheautobot Oh well. Go push the pins in then. :v

Biggest problem personally: can never remember how the leg transformation works.

Wow, very different experiences.
Me waiting for a remake of Overload: day I have no idea.

Alright, we have every character from that fan poll in siege, please give us a good needlenose hasbro, I beg
I like the figure since on my 16th birthday. 😎
He okay. Not the best, but okay. I would still grab him off the shelf. Sweet review. Keep up the awesome. :)

He came with a Blackarachina collectors card!
They come with different cards, it's randomized

I know i might be late to understand this but....why is there a warning saying this is not for kids under 13?
*WHY DID HASBRO MAKE THIS?!?!?!?!*
He sux don´t get him.

Oh no!!!!!
