I was lucky enough to attend both of the PIA Arena shows and they were beyond spectacular; the production and lighting was incredible. I rate them as the best Babymetal shows that I have been to. I remember being there in the crowd and thinking as I was watching it that it was going to look amazing on video and it really comes across in the music video. Divine Attack is actually the first song that Su-metal has contributed to as a writer, as she penned the lyrics personally, which is probably why she sings it with such conviction. She has harboured a desire to be a song writer for a long time, so she finally got to do it. I would expect that going forward she will contribute to more songs on subsequent albums. The Kami Band of the West played at this show because it right at the start of the 2023 world tour. The band lineup was Chris Kelly (guitarist on the left), CJ Masciantonio (guitarist on the right), Clint Tustin (bass), and Anthony Barone (drums).
_The time has come. Stand up!_ 🦊🤘🐎 This was the 1st single out of five released in October 2022, part of the new album "The Other One" released later in March 2023 and is totally a banger. SuMetal got the lyrics credits on this and all of us are proud and happy she reached one of her dreams. She totally rocks!❤️ Here's some official info: Divine Attack - Shingeki (CAVALRY) _The time has come._ _Trascending many barriers and creating many legends, where will BABYMETAL head next? The power and dynamism of the song depicts a cavalry preparing for their future battle._ "Divine Attack - Shingeki" got some drum&bass combined with the heavy riffs of metal sound. They're giving us a new lore and a metalverse with 10 different worlds and songs that are connected in this concept album. We can say that this song carry the spirit and message of songs like Road Of Resistance but this is more like a call to arms and fight for your future. This footage was taken from BabyMetal Begins - The Other One Clear Night, PIA Arena MM, Yokohama in April 2nd, the Black Night took place in April 1st and you can see that clip in MAYA official live MV. This was the first night with MomoMetal as the new official member, the night prior to this they're wearing the old battle dress from Metal Galaxy era while in this you can see them with the new iridiscent costume. MomoMetal (Momoko Okazaki) was one of the three avengers (or backup dancers part of the lore) since 2019. We all proud of MomoMetal being finally part of this group. The backing band you saw are called the Kami Band, they were send by the Fox God to help the girls with the metal sound, they only play live and aren't official members, during early era they used to have a Japanese set of musicians but prior to this when they started to perform live they got a fake band called "baby-bones" (you'll see them in the Gimme Chocolate MV and many more live performance before 2013 mainly), later in 2019 they incorporate a new set of western musicians when doing live tour and they were part of this concert and clip you just saw as well the whole World Tour 2023, we called them Western Kami Band. There is an official visualizer with the album studio sound released the same day in October and you can see only the two of them back then, these new shows on DVD/BD they're promoting are part of this historical event when MomoMetal was crowned as the third official member. Next suggestion: - MAYA live at PIA Arena MM 2023 official MV. If you want more clips safe to react and with proshot quality go into "For The Fox God" and "The Foxhole" channel. Stay tuned next May 23, another special new collab along with Electric Callboy is coming, they released a cool teaser but don't look for any music snippet yet. Thanks for sharing this and see you next time.🦊🤘🔥
Great reaction, thanks! The two BABYMETAL Begins concerts at PIA Arena MM in Yokohama are legendary for being the moment they ended their previous era in the end of the first night and started the new one with the addition of Momoko Okazaki (now Momometal) as the "new" member (after she had been a backup dancer since 2019). About the song and performance itself, the intro is incredible, teasing the song's main theme. It sets the perfect atmosphere for the rest of the song. So, good job choosing this one. "Divine attack" is a great song, well structured, elegant, with a smooth drive, cool drum & bass parts, nice orchestral touch, some heavy riffing and, of course Su-metal's amazing vocals. Not to mention that she is credited for the lyrics on this one for the first time. That's a really big achievement for her and (in her own words) a "dream" and "a final goal in life". Until next time! 🤘🦊
Thanks for stopping by again! The addition of Momometal was great! So glad that Su-Metal achieved her dream of writing the lyrics for Divine Attack 😁🤟🦊
Lol, that’s because our human ears are not used to the revelations written by the Metal Goddess herself. Truly a Divine Attack straight to the soul 🤣 🤘🦊
Good reaction. 'Divine Attack - Shingeki' was released in October 2022 and the first single in advance of the album. It signalled their return from hiatus and was also the first new music we'd heard from BABYMETAL since 2019.🦊 Another first for this song was Su-metal's writing credit for the lyrics. When she heard the demo tape she liked it a lot, it reminded her of one of her own favourite songs ('Road of Resistance') and she said she wanted to write the lyrics ... so that is exactly what she did.🤘
Nice reaction, once again! 😄 Yes, the "PIA Arena MM" in Yokohama is indeed a very special place for the first concert of the "new" BABYMETAL. At the "Black Night" we finally got "Momometal", at the "Clear Night" it all went off like a rocket into the skies... and roughly a year later, at the same venue, we got "Headbangerrrrr!!!!" and "Meta Taro" in special Momometal versions! Moametal said in an interview (Hedoban magazine, I believe), that they chose that arena for a reason... "MM" 😉 There is an even deeper meaning in choosing that arena, but I don´t want to stir things up here. Maybe a little hint: in their ancient era they played the "S aitama Super Arena" in Saitama, "M akuhari Messe" in Chiba, and, yes, "Y okohama Arena" quite often. Those arenas were chosen for a reason, too... "Divine Attack" is a blast, I love it. And their performance is a blast, too! Su-Metals pose is bad ass, eh? 😉
Thanks for stopping by again! Amazing, I can't wait to keep uncovering more about BABYMETAL! I may have to react to some deep dives into BABYMETAL soon 😁🤟🦊

Another excellent, thoughtful reaction. Yeah, the two PIA Arena shows (Black Night & Clear Night) are pretty much irresistible. Everything about them. The Overall performance experience. Babymetal, Kami Band, stage, lighting and Babymetal just seem extra happy and energized both these nights. Oh and not to mention the video, sound quality.
