Michaela (miku) was NOT a tree. She is a forest spirit and took her form as a bird. The tree was the god Held. She did get turned into a tree but that happens after this song takes place
That moment when you realize that KAITO is in love with a tree.
Seeing people call the Evillious characters by their Vocaloid names never bothered me until now, and now it really does, darn it brain.
Miku and Haku's voices sound beautiful together the way Lin and Ren's voices together do.

Michaela is such an interesting character first off, she has amazing character growth she went from a curious, immature spirit, to a mature, strong-willed, sarcastic yet kind, woman secondly, her relationship with her older brother is pretty interesting and it’s sort of funny how she’s a sweet kind goddess while lich is the equivalent of a demon servant, working for what is basically the demon of gluttony I guess that’s just how siblings are furred is her regaining her lost humanity now for those of you who don’t know Michaela and the other four spirits were originally scientist from the second period who were all tragically killed by a certain evil mask scientist and Michaela along with her other fellow, coworkers, lost their memories and humanity and just seeing her regain her humanity through her relationship with Clarth and ayn is incredibly heartwarming

I really love the part when they sing together. Especially since I realized that Clarith is the one who sings the green part of the duet. It really shows how a "weak" person can be strong and vice versa. One more reason I like this song.^^
So stupid i just noticed whenever michaela sings alone, she's alone, so her captions are with only borders and not filled in, but later when she sings with Clarith, both are no longer alone, both are together as one thats why the captions are now white,, representing Clarith filling the green border, Michaela. Bruh danytaly, YOU'RE A GENIUS
I wasn't ready for the feels at the end
Not gonna lie, their singing together in the melody from "Daughter of White" made me shed a tear.

The plot follows Michaela, a forest spirit, who observes a girl named Clarith come and pray for a friend. Curious as to why Clarith is so sad all the time, the spirit wishes to help Clarith, although she finds herself unable to in her current form. After some time, Michaela is given a human form by a "capricious sorceress" so she can meet Clarith and understand her. After meeting Clarith, Michaela enjoys her life as a human, from the village to the city, until she meets Kyle Marlon at a banquet. He falls in love with her and rejects Riliane's proposal. The country falls into warby Riliane's hand. As disaster strikes, Michaela is separated from Clarith, and realizes her feelings for her. Being a human, she cannot revert back into her spirit form, but she resolves to stay in any case due to her love for Clarith. She and Clarith simultaneously promise that if they both survive, they will wait for the other to live in Held's Forest again.
I remember when I first heard this on my MP3 player and had no idea what they were saying...and then I heard "Tatoe sekai no subete no hito ga..." and I went "Awwwww" :')
So SPOILER ALERT but I'm gonna explain the song as well as the story to those who are confused about the event of the series. Pretty much everyone had a horrible fate handed to them.
