So nice to see this attachment in use. Like another comment writer, I found it frustrating not to be able to see the finished stitching clearly. I could not fully understand the differences between the yellow and green bindings. This attachment would seem to be the perfect solution to binding the edges of a top. Thanks for giving a demonstration of how this works. I find myself really interested in learning more.
We have used a similar folder on our industrial machine for many years, and I offer this suggestion for threading the binding into the folder. Attach a short length of 1/4" ribbon to the start of the binding with Schtch tape. Thread the ribbon through the folder, and then pull the binding through with the ribbon.
Thank you for your video Emily, I appreciate people sharing their time to help others. But this video did not show the quality of the stitching - I saw the green binding fold incorrectly just at the end of the video, and the flip side looked like some of the stitches had failed to form correctly on the reverse. It is also very poor practice to leave in a needle that is not threaded, this can lead to poor stitch formation since the needle is catching the looper thread without anchoring it, and the extra needle can leave track marks on your fabric. @BrotherSews I would expect sponsored videos to be better quality in terms of information and production.
Very interesting. Didn't know there was such a attachment. Are there the same kind of attachment for other Brother sewing machines or do you have to purchase this particular machine?
wow, couldn't really see how the binding was folding over at the end or anything as it was so blurry plus you switched and stopped the video from the yellow and went to green which couldn't see either. I take it the yellow strip was a fail? I can't find any videos that show that binding being sewn as it is really hard for stretch fabric to get the desired results.
xD Anyone else holding their breath watching the Bias tape twisting in the attachment? Just wondering if there was going to be enough to finish the line......... just me?

Can I oil a project runway? Only have had it since October and it’s hard to turn and jamming up with an E6 code. Rethreaded it and it keeps happening.

Donde la puedo comprar ?
What size bus tape thing did you use?
Can I use an elastic attachment at the same time as the binding attachment?
It is only recommended to use one type of presser foot attachment at a time on the Brother CV3550.
A quel endroit je peux acheter cet accessoire?

Brother Sews USA I’m literally trying to find someone to sell me a machine just for binding like this. I can’t find links to purchase this or anything
@@BrotherSews link doesn't go to anything?
Does this machine have an automatic release?

?Where did you purchase your Binding attachment?

Good
Hi! Can you remove the first needle to the left if it has no thread?
You should. There's no reason to keep it there.
Please redo this video. It could be helpful if it was in focus and the thread was a greater contrast to the binding. Not very useful.

Great video! Thank you so much!
