I am a fan of Design Seed, Never Too Small but finally, a concept or content for Filipino viewers is here in the Philippines. I can live in a home as bare as that, but my concern is the moisture from its walls, but I presume the architect and the designer of the house has a solution for that type of aesthetics.
Been following those two channels also. I see your concern. I also thought of the openness of the house because it always rains in the Philippines. Especially the open bathroom. I would want the option to have it closed or open depending on the weather.
I guess the open bathroom is fine since you'll also get wet when taking a bath. Hehehe. But seriously, it is still ok with me to feel a different vibe, because ever since my whole life I am using a traditional enclosed T&B. Kaya lang, on "Ber" months it will surely feel much colder lalo na pag mahangin pa.
Imagine living in this house wearing just linen shirt and cotton boxers, doing calisthenics in the morning, reading books in the afternoon, and meditate in the evening with just the sound of wind and bamboo leaves. Youd get to know yourself deeper each moment of being there. Love this.
@@jcfm1629 i admit i sometimes pretend, but deep inside this is what i wanna do to find peace with myself. I get distracted a lot by my worldly desires. I struggle a lot to achieve this. You can label that way of life anything you want, but this is what i want for myself
Ganito gusto kong bahay. Walang pretentiousness, walang unecessary structures at di nilalabanan ang PH weather. Leaning toward eco-brutalism na sya which gives the space the much needed warmth.
The design of the house gives you the feeling of pleasure and contentment. Wherein the architecture arouses your senses and induces a state of serenity and comfort.

It looks like art. It will be interesting to see a follow-up after a year or more of living in a unit: furnished & with normal day-to-day impact, e.g. a fold-up clothes dryer in the garden :)

Well done! Simplicity at its best. Congratulations to the home owner. I love what the designer said about spaces that the right size for its use is the best and anything bigger is an excess and diminishes the impact of the space. Very true.
This is and excellent build. Low cost, yet everything looks really functional. It looks like a blank canvas, which allows the owner to put their own personal touch. I really love this design.
I love the idea of this house but I'd worry about the practicality of having a home in Manila that I would need to leave the windows open in to cool. The air pollution is so bad I don't think this would work without air conditioning. Anywhere else in the Philippines and this home would be great.
more like this please! as a student who admire to have a lovely home in the future, this is very soothing to watch for me; seeing how lovely and elegant this house looks with a budget of below million is just 🔥.
this is what i have been looking for. low cost housing yet does not compromise aesthetics. it's good to watch this video as i am given an idea on the kind of house where my family can live and turn into a home. i hope you can build one for a family of five. 😊 More power to you and may you have many more projects to, especially, build for the average wage earner. 😊
While searching some house designs which is perfect for my preferences and a budget friendly, I'm lucky to see this video, I will contact the architect if I will have my budget already, very calm home.
Well said. Owners say it makes them happier. Affects their mood even if they can’t say why. Imagine if all affordable homes of developers took this approach?
the impact of this design is functional, moving, sensual, minimal, clean, airy, naturale, and beast mode. love it. hope I see more from this architectural design and roofing
Aesthetically designed house within a low budget..Having a decent house doesn’t mean it would cost you an arm and leg. This kind of beautiful and functional house will give its owner some pride and dignity.
You’re right. In the hands of a good architect, he can make a hut look and feel good. It’s the wizard not the wand. Thank you for watching and your insights.
this awesome, this makes more elegant than those millions priced of houses in every subdivisions, but rare people could really appreciate this kinds of house design that you can only find in malaysia where they really make the outdoors part of the houses, simply but elegant

Yes. I agree, hoping to see more licensed professionals such as architects showcasing their work. So people in this country will be encouraged to get their services than those internet designers. Dami magagaling sa kanila, especially yung mga low profile, small time architects pero hinde lang nabibigyan ng chance because of illegal practitioners.
Very good production! Some points the bgm was too loud to hear the guy talking but good choice on music. I really like the usage of bamboos in the design.
Ang ganda! it has calming effect maybe because of the simple design and the bamboo trees...love the big glass window....reminds me of the cozy japanese houses.
