Great video, Donald! I'm definitely not a Porsche guy (except for the 1987 911 ClubSport and the 1989 944 S2) I still find this and any other Audrain videos very entertaining! Your museum is on my shortlist when I'm able to visit the US 👍👌😊
This car is even better when you actually use the throttle pedal, which never happened once in this video. Above 7000rpm the engine howls. We never heard it in this video.
As always enjoyed the video. I wonder in years to come, if the next generation of passionate car people, will know what it feels like to be an active part of the driving experience?
I was very fortunate to drive by the museum a few years ago while visiting my brother-inlaw. Stopped and went inside and was blown away by the quality of the exhibits. I haven't been able to get back (live in Florida) but viewing the videos is the next best thing. By the way, I'm not a fan of the computerized "double clutch" downshift "blip; I learned to heel and toe many years ago, so I do that automatically, just a Porsches were meant to do. Keep up the excellent work!
Subscribed! Really enjoyed the presentation!! This is the first video I've watched so I don't know much about you yet. You prefer vintage cars over modern? Modern feels too refined? Too big and inflated? About to watch all your videos while I spend the evening editing pictures. Thanks for producing so much content!
That radical of a purist who wouldn't want ac and power windows could just modify it themselves and remove the systems. At the end of the day Porsche is a business and they shouldn't have to take a hit for a minority of crazy people.
A yellow 911 R, so rare. I’ve sat in and started a few up over the last couple of years, very special indeed.
This was the car that made me obsessed with Porsche. Will always have a special place in my heart.
Thankfully there are still a few adults doing proper auto reviews on UA-cam. A mature insightful review. Really enjoyed it. Thank you.
This is a proper mature review by an adult who knows what they are doing which I thoroughly enjoyed
I've seen this car in person quite a few times and it is absolutely one of my favorites in the Audrain Collection. Great video.
2:37 that is some good rhyme

Well done! Love the bow tie it’s classy.

great video!
Donald, I take it the green GT3RS seen in the background as you’re approaching Second Beach is the next car. I’m looking forward to your take on it.
Another Awesome video!! These videos deserve a lot more views. You should bring Jay on the channel for some videos as well.
As always enjoyed the video.

Donald in his happy place!
which one would you pick 991 R or 991 Speedster?
Porsche GT3 Touring has a better engine and is at least as “good” as a 911R. I’ve driven both but own the Touring.
same … a mod’d Touring w Dundon, BBS wheels and strip 100 lbs epic
What year is this car? Missed it in the video. Thanks!
2016
