CrazyInsanelikeaFox I AGREE!! THIS IS ONE OF THE FUNNIEST NEWSRADIO EPISODES EVER!! Phil,Dave Foley and Andy Dick are the funniest!!! R.I.P Phil we all still miss you and you still make us laugh!
Newsradio season 4 is one of the greatest seasons of any TV comedy ever. As great as Phil's attitude, his song lyrics and Foley's flustered behavior is here, they add on extra comedy by throwing Andy Dick into the background of the scene. The camera angles and setups were so well-chosen in this season, better than in most feature films. That final line of Andy's, that he's coming here to get his stuff before he pulls on the tree, knocks it down and then runs away without taking it is adding on so much extra comedy to this scene that was so funny no one would've though to even ask for more. This whole season had much more of the same brilliance.
@@blppt Dave Foley's going to be at a convention in Virginia in a couple months. I'm hoping I can make it there and talk about Newsradio and Phil a little bit. I'm not sure Dave stands out in any particular episodes for me, but Jumper and the one where he says "I don't want to be boss" come to mind. Also the one where his college "barbershop quartet" comes back and where he enters the knife-throwing competition. And the one where he does "Ted's" eulogy and the one where he is paranoid Lisa is cheating on him. LOL, it's hard to narrow it down.
I felt season 5 was very good - Lisa working at Lucky Burger, Dave relaxing with white noise and Jimmy on the run - but it would've been the best one yet with Bill McNeal on it.
@stereomois504 Just didn't work without Phil plus Jon Lovitz just didn't work. Season 5 fell off big time which is why I'm not surprised it ended up being the last one.
@RodStewartfan1 Your damn right!!! When I first saw this episode I nearly pissed myself with laughing so hard!!! Oh Joe Camel, don't you cry for me You gave my uncle cancer, but you'll pay the lawyers fee!!! Another episode that cracked me up was Daydream, where the air conditioning goes on the blink and they all start hallucinating!!! Classic anarchic comedy!!
@@partyguy101ify Interesting choices. Though actually Dorothy and Rose is more accurate since those two's scenes together with Dorothy as the sarcastic straight woman to Rose's idiotic zaniness was comedy gold on a level similar to Dave and Bill.
Hartman's stare-down is awesome. You can tell he's both trying not to crack up and to get Foley to lose it. Classic.
lol
Nobody beats Foley in a staring contest.
When Johnny marching home again HE'S GAY! HE'S GAY!
😂😂🤣🤣
Lol would never get away with that today.
I miss this show & Phil Hartman. Rip Phil Hartman.
RIP Phil.

"Pure Evil" and "Security Door" were two absolute peak Dave Foley performances.

LOL THIS EPISODES MAKES ME LAUGH SO HARD! Phil singing at the piano is just hilarious!!!!
This is absolutely one of the funniest episodes of the show and I loooove the part when he punches Steve.
What a great covert plan he cooked up
"Dave, bring this goon unto me" *whistles and points*
I laughed out loud when he punched him
whats a matter dave, gays in the military to hot for you?! i love that line!!!
A terrible loss for comedy. I loved Phill 😢
:(
you have no idea how right you are good sir :(
@@alexcarrilloofficial😂😂😂
And yet Andy Dick continues to breathe.
Phil Hartman: one of the greatest comedians ever
The men's room stereo system. I lost it.
One of the funniest tv shows ever.

I laugh just as hard the millionth time watching as I did the first time!

Dave Foley is perhaps the greatest straight man ever.
Bill and David remind me of House and Wilson or Blanche Devereaux and Dorothy Zbornak, respectively.

@@kendallrivers1119 You're right. Plus Bea Arthur couldn't stand Betty White behind the scenes, so it makes more sense, what you said.
@@partyguy101ify whatever they're dynamic offscreen was worked for the characters big time lol. They all had great chemistry on that show
0:45 I bet you anything this took multiple takes. You can see Phil trying not to smile here.
Genius
play at 0.5 speed enjoy more phil hartman :)
Bill blatantly rips off Mark Russel, then denies ever hearing of him. Classic O'Neil.
Funny as Phil Hartman's Canadian.
😂😂😂😂
😂
U left out a few other hilarious lines from this episode
Just his stare at :12 is enough to make you pee! I know I did...
Mentioning gays in the Marines was perfect. Lol
"Oh, like Mark Russell?"
"Never heard of him."
PS-I would love to see the scene of Bill & Beth singing together in Stupid Holiday Charity Talent Show.
I miss this show & Phil Hartman. Rip Phil Hartman.
