  • Have you ever heard of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison? Why is it a National Park? What is there to do there? While I'm asking... what do you do in any National Park?
Join us on our third trip through Colorado's National Parks as we explore a few stunning canyons, with very different histories: one that has been dominated by a ski lift, bungee jump, zip line, and about 100 Fort Broncos, and one that has been protected as wilderness for posterity.
So let me ask the question... what do YOU need to be able to enjoy nature? A zip line? A road? A toilet? Or should we consider nature the way that Theodore Roosevelt did when he said, "Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work... and man can only mar it."
Have you visited the Black Canyon? Be sure to add Colorado's FOURTH National Park to your bucket list, whether you come for the deepest, sheerest, narrowest, darkest and most "dreadful" canyon in the nation, or whether you simply come to enjoy a small gash of our world in its wild, natural state.
