I watched all 4 parts and was thoroughly entertained. You're a great storyteller. If you're ever back in Arizona looking for company on a ride like this, hit me up. This was great info to help me plan my own BCT trip.
@@theadventurebiker lol, yeah I though that was funny too. Thanks for watching! Yeah I would consider riding the black canyon trail again if I'm ever back in the Phoenix area.
Waiting for snow to melt in Canada. If we have a dry spring up here might have a couple of weeks riding before mosquito's and blackflies drive you out of the bush .We get beavers flooding many trails.
Fantastic video. October 2019 I had the pleasure of hiking the section at the beginning of your video, @ Black Canyon City going south towards the river. Great scenery but the trail does get confusing in that general area. Hope to return there again someday.
Ist time watcher and now a subscriber. Great video, drone and photos, excellent music choice especially the beginning of your video's drumming ! Who is that ?
Really enjoyed your video the trails you ride on look fun. How heavy is your bike fully loaded? Must make those tight gravel corners difficult. Thanks for sharing your ride.
Although I traveled relatively light, because of the drone and other camera gear, I can't claim to be ultra light, but it was worth it in my opinion. I estimated that I had a combined weight (bike & gear) of ~50 Lbs. Thanks for watching, it was a pleasure to share my trip.
@@PrentissC Check out the Parrot Anafi drone. I think it is a lot better suited to this kind of filmmaking and use. I have a Mavic Pro as well but don't really like it so much for this stuff. I really want to get the Anafi...
Took two days, but keep in mind that I missed some portions of it, so that made it easier to complete in two days . I think two days is enough if you want to put in long days, or 3 to 4 days if you go at a more casual pace.
Nice job! Thanks for the ride!
this is great thanks for sharing - rad bike too.
Thanks for watching, hopefully I can do another bikepacking trip next year!
Just discovered your channel & thoroughly enjoyed this series! Cheers!

Just stumbled upon your series. I’m amazed I watched all the way thru. Awesome videos/ great music choices too. Thanks
Thanks! Looking forward to going on another bike tour and making more videos, this was a lot of fun!
Hi! from canada I just discovered your channel. very entreteining
You are getting some really good mileage from those drone shots, great additions to these videos
Great series man! Really enjoyed it!
Another nice one! Great episode man. That Black Canyon trail looked like a fun ride!

Man! What a cool video series! Loved it!!!
What is the music that begins at 1:15? Wow! Perfect fit with the terrain your show at that point!!

Excellent work!
We dont have ticks like back east. At the end of black canyon trail a fellow could go a few miles to Lake Pleassant for camping. 👍
Soloing with a drone, your in heaven man, thanks for sharing. Sounds like an east coast accent.
That me in 2 weeks. Doing 400 miles in Arizona with just me and my Mini 2.
Than was a good ride and good info, I have been looking at that route and love the river crossing.
Great series

Did you find the creaking issue? I have the same 2018 Kona Unit and have a similar "tick" I can find and eliminate.
8:45 with my eyesight, I would lose sight of that drone

@@PrentissC How many batteries are you carrying for the Mavic?
@@theadventurebiker 3 batteries and the charger, which i wished they made a lighter travel version

Very cool. Did you do this ride solo?

@@PrentissC I started watching ur vids since 2 days ago.... Great stuff... Is the camera on ur Hemet?
What were the dates you did this on?
I did this in mid to late March of this year
@@PrentissC Thanks ! Planning an early March trip to the area, deciding between Fool's Loop, Queen's Ransom, or Gila River Ramble.
cool
What are those handlebars? They look comfortable.
They are the origin8 space off road bars. I find them more comfortable than traditional handlebars.
