I am good with the fixed magazine and very use to it, but it is nice to have options. I just hope the fixed magazine is still an option. 19 rounds v/s 12 to me isn't worth it nor is 150$ for a spare magazine.
Machine time is more expensive than materials. American machine time is very expensive.

One reason I can think of not to buy it is the extra magazines are extremely expensive and I’ve read that people are having trouble with the magazines bought afterwards are not consistent, pellets are either too tight or they fall out

I bought one but it is very bad, the trigger gets stuck and I sent it to the store to repair and they sent it after a month and with another problem with the air I fill it and after two days it is empty and today I have to send it again to the store I have to pay for shipping and it still has a warranty 😡

I have both. And accuracy, and build quality go to the Sidewinder. Blitz tips the hat with mag capacity. If Western offered a larger magcap... We wouldn't even be having this discussion....
