    Eight months into the future this video still carries full artistic strength.
    I used to watch Nutn’ with the sound off just to view the knives. I now watch AKB at full volume and don’t even care what knife is being reviewed! Keep up the awesome job Bro!

    The Para 3 is my favorite pocketknife of all time, by a wide margin. I have four of them, the natural/M4 model you have, a standard black/S30V, a black/black coated S30V, and a blurple/S110V. All of them have Lynch titanium deep carry clips. Small enough to fit in my watch pocket for work when I carry my Leatherman Free P4 in my main pocket, big enough to do anything I ever want to do with a pocketknife, some of the best action I’ve ever felt, silky smooth and VERY solid, perfectly centered, and about as good a slicer as you can get in that wide a blade shape without making the tip fragile as glass. It’s utterly perfect for me.

    Comment and thumbs up, just the kind of guy I am, not afraid to put in the extra effort. Even if it is a year old video I must have never gotten the notification for, or ignored it. Its 50 50 either way.

    I purchased the last M4/natural g10 para2 with the black coating and love it. I need to find someone to re profile the edge, but the m4 has held. I agree though, anything smaller than the pm2 would only get minor pocket time. I also sanded down the part of the g10 where the clip meets the scales, no pocket ware, probably loss on the secondary market though.

    Did you know that movie stars get their hair cut every day? It's true. Movie stars get their hair cut every day so that no one will notice and make fun of them, like at our school. At our school, this one kid, Ivan Korgetski, age nine, we used to think he shaved his head but his dad was just strict.
    OK. I have to go. I'm baking a delicious cobbler.

    You've truly reached a new level of UA-cam knife usage....
    You batoned a 2.5" cutting edge lol
    I mean we always knew it was for shits and giggles...i mean ... Who uses a 3.5" blade to baton? Anything that small is already small enough.. Right?? But it was still feasible... In a magical fantasy land where mall ninjas actually use there knives..
    I feel like you just defied the laws of physics .... My hat goes off to you sir...

    I bought a PM2 on your recommendation (hit up Spyderco for your cut) and I'm really enjoying it. I was just wondering though about how long until it breaks in? I know it's based on use but I really can't deploy it easily right now and I didn't know if I should wait more (only got it Sunday) or adjust the pivot screws.

    • @AdvancedKnifeBro
      @AdvancedKnifeBro  6 років тому +1

      Adjust the pivot... my PM2 and Yojimbo 2 were both second hand so I couldnt say how they were. The P3 was really the only compression lock I've ever been satisfied with out of the box. The sage 5 and the caribbean were both too stiff to be enjoyable.

Like what I'm carrying today. I have a $40 carbon fiber natrix that disagrees that it can't be done, easily, cheaply, and without a major product revision and difference in weight.

    Great review as always, nice props to Cedric and Ada another great Aussie channel. Anyway Ive been intrigued by the PM3 for ages. You say PM2 is best for EDC but whenever I carry it for work in Australia I feel like someone might find it too offensive and weaponish like I might get jumped on by security. Crazy knife laws here. So Im really tempted by the smaller more “utilitarian” size of the PM3. With the PM2 being so perfect in the hand, my question to you fine sir is are you really giving up much in the ergos dept by going with the smaller frame design? Blade length to me is no problem but I dont want it to feel too crampy in the hand during use?

      That's why I prefer the PM2 because of larger blade and handle grip area.
