When Leon is paroled in 2047, he will begin residency #8. Seriously, what kind of medical program or hospital would allow someone a residency when he has already been dismissed from multiple residencies in the past?
Wow. So much happening in this situation. I've been love bombed by a narcissist. It was the most intense experience of my life. I've never done drugs, but I can't imagine the high being any less euphoric - or devastating in the end. Thank goodness the would-be murder victims escaped unharmed. My even greater concern though is for the patients and medical staff he engaged with. Can you even imagine how bad you must be to get dismissed from 7-8 residencies. I work in healthcare and the honest situation I've witnessed is that physicians cover for each other 99% of the time. It's like an unwritten rule. The most horrible medical doctors are protected by some of the best doctors, regardless of the ethical considerations. Maybe because he was a resident there was a less support. Either way for his career to turn out this way he had to be the worst resident in the history of mankind. Some of the patients he probably harmed or traumatized may never be the same again.

Hey Dr. Grande, how about the Sabrina Aisenberg case? Missing infant where parents were relentlessly accused with questionable tactics on the part of the prosecution.
I've heard people say that mental health is similar to physical health in that it can be diagnosed, analyzed and treated. I have to wonder about some of these cases though and what treatment could fix them. And, do they want to be fixed? A leg in a cast will heal whether the owner wants it to or not. I think narcissism is unlikely to be "fixable" like a broken leg, but monitored like the boy in a bubble with toxic blood. You know it's fatal, but you play cards with them anyway.
Hi Dr. Grande, I was wondering if you could cover the murder suicide that happened at Harvard University in 1995 (the murder of Trang Phuong Ho.) There seems to be a lot of mental health factors to be considered in this case and I was hoping to hear your thoughts on the case. Thank you for all you do, I have learned a lot from your channel, mainly how important mental health is!
Dr. Grande I appreciate this video and others when you touch on the subject of narcissism. When I was working on my P.h.d and/or masters in criminal science the correlation between behaviors, terrorism and serial killers is amazing. Yet in my opinion not covered enough. There is always something new to learn or even relearn. Thank you.🤔❤️🇺🇸
Dr. Grande, think the line he didn't recognize his incompetence about sums up the story. 5 failed residencies, asking a bail bonder to refer a hitman, going back to a dude who walked off with $9 grand, his appeals, ... I suppose a dense narcissist is preferable to a genius one.
Hello Dr. Grande, thank you for consistently giving us different analysis that are always very interesting. I love to follow you and listening to an expert present a variation of cases. Thank You for sharing. Best Regards.
"Resisting a narcissist is less dangerous than joining one" is a great observation. The changes they will require you to make to get along will cause more damage in the long run.
I would speculate that if Valerie took the stand, she could have convinced the Jury that Leon was threatening and coerced her; throw in copious tears and she'd have been found not-guilty.
@Dr.Grande Your quote about this guy not letting the fact he is completely incompetent to stand in his way is hilarious. Unfortunately, it's fitting for too many ppl I know here in New Orleans.
This video raises a good point on why these killers for hire actually ever go through with anything. Not like the buyer is going to call the police on you for running off with their money !
After seven residences he should have been able to get through a residency with his eyes closed. How hard can it be? He must have been terribly dumb and no university should have taken him.
I had a “wow” moment watching Dr. Grande this video. Thank you Dr. Grande, for giving me a daily dose of insight to human behaviors. I’m loving the new videos after your channel hit one million. They are insightful and expert-opinion oriented. Some of the cases have been very disturbing in the past, but I like the part in this case where all those who were offered to commit murder just refused to do it. Even though he had his personality disorders he surrounded himself with intelligent good individuals who were sensitive and alert by his behavior. It seemed that he just couldn’t get his hands on real criminals. I wish I would’ve heard about the length of his sentence and whether you thought it was fair or not. I feel bad for his father regardless.
All Of Dr. Grande's analyses are excellent, but some like this one verge on brilliance. Personally, I am not all that good at thinking outside the box.
hi Dr.Grande and thanks for a great video and a fascinating look at people, especially Valerie. what was it about her that attracted him? I have to wonder about some of these cases though and what treatment could fix them. And, do they want to be fixed? A leg in a cast will heal whether the owner wants it to or not. I think narcissism is unlikely to be "fixable" like a broken leg, but monitored like the boy in a bubble with toxic blood. You know it's fatal, but you play cards with them anyway.
He was not going to let the fact that he was completely incompetent stop him 😂
Hi Dr. Grande,
I was wondering if you could cover the murder suicide that happened at Harvard University in 1995 (the murder of Trang Phuong Ho.) There seems to be a lot of mental health factors to be considered in this case and I was hoping to hear your thoughts on the case. Thank you for all you do, I have learned a lot from your channel, mainly how important mental health is!
A stamp sponsorship. Just the kind of sponsor I would expect Dr. Grande to have. Perfect!
my favourite part was when the police went to inform him about the "deaths" the first thing to out of his mouth was him and his lady were at home
Brilliant analysis as always. Thank you Dr Grande, you are the best.
Thank you.🤔❤️🇺🇸
Could you do a story about the former Miss America who committed suicide?
& Thank You.
Dr. Grande, think the line he didn't recognize his incompetence about sums up the story. 5 failed residencies, asking a bail bonder to refer a hitman, going back to a dude who walked off with $9 grand, his appeals, ... I suppose a dense narcissist is preferable to a genius one.
Good morning Dr. Grande!
Really liking the cactus string on your table. Great analysis of this very disturbed man. Thank you 🙏
Hello Dr. Grande, thank you for consistently giving us different analysis that are always very interesting. I love to follow you and listening to an expert present a variation of cases. Thank You for sharing. Best Regards.
I understand wanting to keep trying, but, Good Grief!! But 7???!!!!
@Dr.Grande Your quote about this guy not letting the fact he is completely incompetent to
stand in his way is hilarious. Unfortunately, it's fitting for too many ppl I know here in New Orleans.
This trial is very worth watching!!! You'll be glued to your chair.
Brilliant analysis. Intellectual candy.
Impressive analysis. Thank you very much from the Netherlands.
Whoa, 1.01mil already! Literally Dr Grande!! Keep going, I love your analysiseses!
Sr Grande, u describe introduce subject very distinctively . Time line Mental health etc all is 14-15 mins. Marvellous
Scary individual. Thank you for the video!
This video raises a good point on why these killers for hire actually ever go through with anything. Not like the buyer is going to call the police on you for running off with their money !
Leon and Valerie were so myopic in the throes of their passion that they forgot revenge is a dish best served cold.
Would you consider give an analysis of the Lauren Smith-Field case?
The dry humor slays me. So to speak.
Loving my Saturday night in NYC: eating sushi at home while catching up on Dr. G videos! 😀😀😀
Very interesting.
Amazing that a good person can be sucked in by narcissist and do something so out of character.
All Of Dr. Grande's analyses are excellent, but some like this one verge on brilliance. Personally, I am not all that good at thinking outside the box.
It is interesting that he was allowed that many chances in residency. Thanks for your videos!
Amazing channel! Please do a Tinder Swindler analysis! 👀🙏🏻
We love you dr grande
Could you talk about the Albertan medical examiner who flubbed dozens of autopsy cases?:) luv u doc
I love Dr Grande time. Love your dry since of humor. As always great analysis..
I remember the staged photos!!! Smh you always pick great cases.
hi Dr.Grande and thanks for a great video and a fascinating look at people, especially Valerie. what was it about her that attracted him? Did he somehow suspect her weakness and that she would agree to murder? that the Olive Garden was their restaurant of choice rings a lot of criminal bells. BTW, i like going to the Post Office to look at the Wanted Posters of my relatives.
Birds of a feather flock together. Its not Leons fault she wanted to murder her husband, she was messed up, they both were
