You know, the only real complaint I can think of is that it literally sounds too “good”. It’s more of an Undyne song than it is a Junkil song, it sounds like he’s actually the hero instead of just a pretender using the determination for evil. Could work well enough as a weird route cover though.

@@SuspiciousTemmie He probably meant good as in “heroic,” referring to how Junkil REDUX is trying to play the role of the hero by using the Determination in Asriel’s SOUL…or something like that. I haven’t read up on much of the Chapter Rewritten lore.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE covers of this track so much, because each one adds its own unique element to it, so there truly isn't "the best remix that beats the others".
I was actually expecting the “Willing Peon” (AetherCrest Big shot replacement), but this sure was a surprise!

Too bad the writing seems stinky dinky pinky at the moment. “I am the antagonist”, “Know it all kids like you really piss me off”, Asriel’s age swap and Lancer and Berdly’s race swap, the name “Junkil REDUX” when “Junkil the Junkillable” was perfectly set up and right there… It really could be better if they tried even a little bit to avoid fanonswap pitfalls

@@Awssom That’s very, very far from the truth. You know the whole point of Inverted Fate is to keep personalities and characters intact, and make a more original story? And Chapter Rewritten does the complete exact opposite of that. Changing character’s ages, races, personalities and quirks to force them into the exact mold of Deltarune’s story. This is an absolutely awful comparison. Man, youtube popularity can really do something to the community’s perception of an au. And it’s all because they started by showing off a swap of the most fandom popular characters.

I know this AU is not yours, but i will say it anyway: why do people always swap NEO with undying? I get that if the undertale version swaps MTT with undyne, but most of the time even when a swap clearly swaps undyne and alphys or different swaps involving undyne and MTT, people instinctively say the secret Boss taking place of spamton should have an undying form.
the reason it’s a popular choice is probably because undying and neo parallel each other in that they’re both alternate forms of characters that appear only in the genocide route

I didn't like battle against the world. But this remix has changed my perception.
Ok I love everything EXCEPT the morse code, adding that during the middle of the song for such a long period of time genuinely gives me a headache. Also because of that I can never enjoy the section it plays over.

I’m very mixed on this song. While it’s really good in its own right, I really just hear it as a downgrade to the original. The beginning melody being changed was really the worst part it was my favorite, but it’s deliberately worse here. I think you handled some things better such as the ending part, but the beginning still stings.

I like that this incorporates Jevils motifs more, and the mixing is an improvement over the original, but it still feels like the BaaTH and the Don't Forget melodies kind of grate against each other. Not your fault, but a fault of the original composition I suppose. The morse code at 1:36 is thematically great, but does kind of intrude on the main melody. Despite those two nitpicks this is a truly great cover, you're obviously talented. Good job.
