  • The idyllic rolling green of the American Pacific North West continue to be a go to destination for bush flyers in Flight Simulation. The latest addition to airfields to adventure to comes from new developer Backwood Studios, with the release of Shady Cove Airport.
A private strip established in 1949, it would grow from a strip for friends to enjoy their shared passion for aviation to one of America's first Air Parks, where you can park your car then taxi your aircraft out of your home garage and straight onto the runway!
A fascinating concept and a alluring destination are brought to life in some immersive detail by this new development team. Offering a great spot to kick back and relax before adventuring further into the Pacific North West, Shady Cove Airport is a unique location in real life and now in Microsoft Flight Simulator
Join me from ground level and from the skies as I check out this new release from Backwood Studios in detail! Does it live up to the heritage of the real deal? Or will it roll downhill?

Every time I see the juice goose it reminds me of that grey cat space golfcart from Star citizen. LOL

I'm just imagining the reaction of the residents when I turn up there with a tent and a portable barbeque :D

I saw you made liveries for the P-51 and Phantom.
Can you do some GA planes, like the Carenado 182RG, Sky Master, etc?

Hey there! Great question! I make liveries for different aircraft but it is related to licencing of being able to create payware content for other developers aircraft.
Currently most of my plans for content for the insim Marketplace are for Microsoft / Asobo aircraft and DC and SC Designs aircraft.
I may look into Carenado in the future but no immediate plans.

That french gas station ( Asobo stock) have nothing to do with a little airpark in the US. I don't know why so many developers, pay and free, put it everywhere. In small airports there is no gas station, there is maybe one or more external tanks. All the rest is ok. I would suggest ORBX to remove it. Apart from the tank, I am happy to see that ORBX have started to do small GA airports in PNW again. There is a large community flying GA aircrafts in MSFS, not only Boeing and Airbus liner.
