Hi Novawing and thanks a lot for the beautiful and very detailed review :)
I noted a few observations while watching it and I just wanted to share them with you and your community if you're interested:
- Magnetos are not binary. You can scroll and reach "left" and "right". And actually, since v1.1 they are correctly linked to your key bindings (if you have any).
- Taxi/Landing light switch also allows you to go back from landing to taxi: just scroll down.
- Actually, all (or almost all?) the switches work either with single click or scroll. (same for cowl flaps, you have 5 steps if you scroll).
- Easier way to manage your mixture during climb: check your fuel flow needles and try to put them "as vertical as possible" (the higher you will fly, the less vertical they will go).
- The audio recorder doesn't record anything, it's true, but it is fully animated, you have two speeds, light bulbs work, etc. :)
- The interior panel light effect is more visible if you turn the UV lights off. It makes for a less aggressive night lighting setup.
- You also have a red dimmable light by the photographer's seat.
And I think it's about it. You explained everything else really well. And thanks for showcasing the failures :)
Just one last thing: The XF-11 is also available on Just Flight and SimMarket for those who prefer.
You are most welcome! Thank you for making such an amazing aircraft!
Now... can I interest you in developing another contrarotating aircraft? ;)
@@Novawing24 You can make a suggestion, of course. But I have already chosen what I will do next. And I will start working on it in 2/3 weeks.
It's going to be single engine, single prop, sorry :) Much closer to the GA family this time.
Well if you ever want to dip your fries into a Westland Wyvern I for one would be a VERY happy Simmer! Can't wait to see the next dish from Flying Fries!
