Forgiveness yes none of us are perfect. That being said he's held to a higher standard in the various positions he held! Honestly his 2nd stint as coach for the silver and black was bleak with 3 years of failed high draft picks which really hurts because he had a genius move in trading away talent for multiple 1st rounders. Glad he's no longer running the raiders because there was a fog over the organization and he wasn't producing results.
Honestly he was about 40/60 on those 1st round picks if you think about it a lot of teams are. He hit on Miller, Jacobs is a damn good back, Abram is still on the team starting and it looks like Graham is going let him shine, Mullen only issue was injury, Ruggs was coming into his own and you can't blame Gruden or Mayock for what he did. Really the wiffs were Cle, Arnette, and Leatherwood at this point. You can blame them for bringing in Littleton, and Drake but all of Raider Nation wanted Littleton knowing the price they would have to pay for him not knowing the production wouldn't be there. I also work with a diverse team and am expected to respect everyone. If Jon Gruden can't respect all people of color, he doesn't need to be coaching.

Forgiveness yes none of us are perfect. That being said he's held to a higher standard in the various positions he held! Honestly his 2nd stint as coach for the silver and black was bleak with 3 years of failed high draft picks which really hurts because he had a genius move in trading away talent for multiple 1st rounders. Glad he's no longer running the raiders because there was a fog over the organization and he wasn't producing results.

Honestly he was about 40/60 on those 1st round picks if you think about it a lot of teams are. He hit on Miller, Jacobs is a damn good back, Abram is still on the team starting and it looks like Graham is going let him shine, Mullen only issue was injury, Ruggs was coming into his own and you can't blame Gruden or Mayock for what he did. Really the wiffs were Cle, Arnette, and Leatherwood at this point.
You can blame them for bringing in Littleton, and Drake but all of Raider Nation wanted Littleton knowing the price they would have to pay for him not knowing the production wouldn't be there.
But what we did get from Gruden and Mayock is Maxx Crosby, Hunter Renfrow, Jonathan Hankins, Nate Hobbs, Kolton Miller, Malcolm Koonce, Devine Deablo, Trevon Moehrig, Foster Moreau, Andre James, Daniel Carlson, AJ Cole, Alec Ingold, and let's throw in Denzel Perryman.
Gruden and Mayock put together a playoff caliber team and now it's up to McDaniels and Zeigler to turn that playoff caliber team into a championship team. So far, they're off to the right start as far as I can see. This team is loaded

The news of the emails was leaked and it caused problems for the team, they didn't announce the emails until a few weeks after it was leaked. The team knew it, it created problems in trying to keep the team together and focused. All it takes for a team to start losing is drama like the Raiders went through with Gruden and Ruggs. The team showed amazing character to do what they did last year, under those circumstances. Gruden put that team together. Fans think the players were playing for Rich, they were playing for Gru.
